So do I, its like selling a car, and saying the same thing because acidents happen, so no cars should be sold anymore.
Then there are many many box mods, buzz and thelike with stacked batterys on the market, and nobody talks about them.

I know next to nothing on this, but maybe because when stacked batts fail in a box mod, it fails more 'gracefully' (less painfully?) than a (sometimes unvented, sometimes insufficiently vented) tube mod. As you mention, I haven't seen much said on box mod failure, so don't know what really happens in those cases.

Agree, in a tube it would be worse. But in this case, the Vmax has all kind of electronical protecion that prevents hazard.
In any case, you should use good IMR bats to be on the safe side.
They must have died all the las years with so many box mods Buzz and other stacked battery mods on the market.
It was no big problem untill the Vmax was on the market. Some people are getting nervous.
Not nervous.
In the EU there never was a device so "available" with stacked batteries
Anyway,if you want to see it (menus and all) here's a link:

Come on, really? I'm not sure you're even trying to be objective. It looks fine to me, not that looking is any substitute for holding, and using.
