using two 3.7v batteries

What happens when you use two 3.7v batteries? I know there is a resistor. I'm guessing it would be around 6.5v, but this is just a rough guess. I imagine someone with a multimeter has tested this out.

Can anyone test this out on a prodigy? There's got to be at least one person with some 3.7 batteries, a multimeter and a prodigy.

I never put a multimeter on it to test the voltage, but I can tell you that the vapor tasted burnt and nasty.

I feel using 2 -3.7 volt batteries defeats the purpose.Ive made a couple mods and i must say 5 volt is the spot. 6 or anything higher just tastes burnt and sucks juice at a high rate you make get one or two nice draws off it but compared to 5 volt which has a smooth draw everytime plus alot of flavor there is no comparision. i'm not sure what the resistor would do on the prodigy with 3.7 volt. nor am i going to try ...... since getting my prodigy i have retired my mods and use this everyday all day awsome job to Steve and his crew why tamper with perfection........

I know that the pen style adapters can take the higher voltage, while I don't find that to be the case with the 901 style. As far as actual voltage goes with the prodigy, or any other device with rechargeable ion batteries, the voltage changes. I don't know what the prodigy starts at or finishes at. It is not at 5v the whole time though. I was just wondering what 3.7v batteries might start at compared to 3.0v batteries in the prodigy. I'm curious what effect the resistor would have. I have a vaping device that takes two 3.0v batteries and starts out at 6.8v with freshly charged batteries.

maybe someone will answer a couple questions i have. i'm thinking of getting a power-pak that has usb port to plug my pass-thru into. i was looking at 1 it has adjustable voltage, 5-6-7.2, which is good in case i need it to power other things.
it has 14.4 Wh capacity. is that good
it has 2850mAh @ 5v is that good
how long would it last me between charges if i was a medium vaper?
