Default Prodigy/PS PT Users -- PLEASE READ -- Thank You

    Hey Guys ...

We have had a number of *shorts* appear recently, and I will be going over the different ways this can happen. Please check your equipment so you aren't using something that can perhaps have ill effects on the resistor and/or batteries.

    Atomizer Short:

    Adapter Short:

What happens is actually quite simple. Positive and Negative Terminals are *touching* somewhere, therefore causing the device to short circuit. What this essentially means is it finds the path of least resistance back which just happens to be the batteries. The resistor heats up from overworking ... It does not *Blow Up* guys ... It simply heats up and turns a brown color.

If you notice either of the above, make sure to let either myself or Casey know about is ASAP so we can get your adapter replaced with a new one. Atty's you currently have that have this problem - DO NOT USE.

I for those that would like to know how to properly attach an atomizer to the Prodigy, Mrs. CaSH will be making a video later going over how to do just that.

hey gunz ... to be quite honest, the entire thing can be brown and still function. The resistors really can take quite a lot.

You likely had a bad atomizer on there once upon a time if it just happened randomly and you haven't had issues since. just make sure to double check your equipment and you should be good to go.

    Hey Coder ...

You should be fine ... Adapters (For both the PT and Prodigy) are being pressed correctly now so we should have no more Adapter shorts from here on out.

But, always keep a look out for those shorted atty's!!! they can cause havoc! Another thing to remember, When you feel the atomizer snugg up, stop, do not continue to clamp down, and you should be golden

    Enjoy!
