I thought this post was dead and buried so dropped the issue. Since it's resurfaced, I'll just say this: I got a quantity of BE112's from Best E-Cig and some other 801 attys from EastMall and they're still going strong - haven't killed one yet. I'm not doing anything different with these. I've always kept 'em wet, blow 'em out if they get flooded or wimpy, wipe the contacts off every now and then, and I do NOT overtighten -- just turn until I get some resistance then stop. No atty problems at all and I'm a happy vaper once again. And that's the end of this story.

Sometimes I don't word things very well, especially when I'm PO'd while I'm typing. And now two months have passed and we're on page 4 of this thread. Here's what I tried to say way back when:
Last June, I got 18 silver atty's from PS to go with the Prodigy. Every one that I tried to use (the first 9 of the 18) died quickly (after 1-3 days EACH). By the time I figured something wasn't quite right, the 7-day return period had passed and I was told they wouldn't be accepted as returns. I was convinced PS had gotten a bad batch. I got more from China (the BE112s and some from EastMall) and they're holding up great. Haven't killed one yet.
NOT 18 in one day, NOT 146 in two hours (LMAO)... it was 9 over about 2 or 3 weeks.
All 18 are now outta my house and I'm ready to forget the whole mess.

Reason: Try to avoid confusion again.

I have a number of BE112s. The first one I used lasted 3 months. I'm 8 weeks into the second. You can't go wrong there.

The second just died. I shouldn't have said anything. Oh well, 22 BE112s to go.

As a new comer to E-CIGs ( well not that new as i am 3 months in ) one thing i have learned and i am not sure if many people do this.
If you order a good sized order of attys or even more then 1 for that matter, TEST THEM!
I ordered 8 ( 801s) once from PS, i normally get them, put them in my storage case and dont use them until one goes out. Well come to find out, 4 of them were dead DOA, i never used them, never dripped, nothing and i tried everything to get them going. No luck and since it was pass the however many days PS will warranty them, i got shot down by them telling me sorry, nothing we can do....Live and learn i guess right?
TEST ALL YOUR ATTYS!!!! BOTTOM LINE!!!!
