Finally got my mech switch and usb extension for my protege

I am sure some of you know that I like my protege alot. and I have been lucky since I still don' have problems with my original switch.

Well I got Great news and alright news.

I received my mech switch today and works 100% first try wooohoo. (sorry for the ones that are still having problems)

now for the alright news.

I received my USB extension for my protege,,, because I wanted this to be my non battery PV ... well it does work

It was also a PITA to get it in and seated properly.
I hate to have to say it is a bit below par as far as quality goes
how close and exposed the wires are it gives sort of an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. Especial when you have to squeeze the rubber fitting up into the unit.. it pushes the wires inside the extension contacts and scrunches the positive wire

I would also like to mention that it has now and then provided a tiny shock while using the device. I know I have sweaty palms but I still shouldn't be considered ground for the unit.

I was really anxiously waiting for it in the mail... because since I already have decent battery mods... and though I loved my protege in battery mode... I wanted a decent PT.

The USB extension pre-purchase actually swayed me from buying a new PT mod and selling my protege.


I guess to summarize I am not hating it...but I am just not loving it like I use to or expected to.

Well Cash I know you provide excellent customer service and are well respected here... and don't worry I will figure something out to make it up to standard... I can tinker with it hehe

Geo you are not the only one who gets shocked trust me. I'll talk to ya on Nu-vapor when i see you about possible home fixes that will make it less PITA and shocking.
