Rockin' Prodigy V2 Written Review

Good morning everyone!

I received my Prodigy V2 yesterday. This is my first written review of a PV so I hope it goes OK and helps someone in deciding what they would like to order. I want to take the time to do this because the ECF has been my lifeline in making decisions on PV's, juice, batteries, tips & tricks and much more. Thank you to everyone for being sooooo helpful!!!

Right out of the package you could immediately see the quality. It is a really great looking PV. Grimm's logo looks awesome too! It has a "Made in the USA" sticker on the package. I love that Steve makes all his PV's right here in our own country! A big plus for me!!!

I popped in my fully charged batteries (I have 5 sets) and pushed the magical button. TONS OF FLAVOR, THROAT HIT & VAPOR

The mechanical switch is a dream come true. It consistently hits and it is soooooo easy to push.

5v is my absolute FAV!! Again, vapor, throat hit, flavor.... they are ALL there!!! Yum!!! I am using a 510 atty and will be using a 901 as well. I need to order the other adapter now

I have been a customer of Puresmoker for over a year now. Steve and Casey are great people and offer great customer service. Oh and don't forget you have a lifetime warranty on your switch... can't go wrong there!

I started out with a 901 then 401 then 510. These type of mods were not available when I started... I wish they were!! I would have saved A LOT of money from the get go. I received a Prodigy V1 over the summer and still LOVE it. I have 2 of them. I also have 3 Protege's and LOVE them too.

If you are new to vaping and on the fence about what you should order I would highly recommend getting the Prodigy V2 and maybe even a Protege as well. They both serve their purpose in different ways.

These mods will definitely help you in the battle to quit smoking. I have been smoke-free for over a year now. I know that I would not have had this success without my PV's.

The Prodigy V2 gets an absolute 10 out of 10 from me.

In fact... I am getting ready to order another one. Yes... I vape alot and love to have 2 going at the same time with different juices on them. Don't forget to get your Riskee Yuice too. It is a great vape. Mods are juice hogs and I only drip with all of mine. Trying to get into the Atomz as well.

I'm looking for the Atomz as I will be taking my Prodigy V2 on the go.
From what I understand, I will not be able to use the 510 Cartridge, is that correct?

You could use both, as long as you have both the KR808D-1 and 510 adapters.

Thank you! You should get the 901/KR808D1 adapter too. Then you can just switch from the 510 adapter to the 901 to use the Atomz. It is really nice to have both since you do not need to get an extended tip that makes your mod look even bigger/longer. You just screw off one adapter and screw the other one on. That way you can switch back and forth (depending on your mood). Perfection

That is why I want to have 2 V2's... one with my 510 on it and one with my 901/KR808

Great review Kim. I too would like to know how it works with the KR808. Seems like it would be too high of a voltage for these.

The usual KR808D-1 USB PTs are supposed to work at 5v and work fine. (And most users seem to state the PTs are superior vaping to the batteries) Unless they're significantly wrong about their USB PT voltage, then cartomizers should work fine on the V2.

Also, many posters here in the puresmoker forum have tried, or currently vape cartomizers at 5v and state it's great.

I do understand, however, that being a new device, first hand input is always good
