What is the Prodigy V2? Is this what became known as the Protege, or is there possibly another 5v device on the way? I see the original post hasn't been updated since June and didn't want to go through the whole thread. Thanks.

Hey Apple, the original V2 became the Protege, but there is also an updated Prodigy in the works. Steve just posted somewhere that it will only be 5-6v, stainless steel, and there are a few other updates.

Sounds sweet! Any idea of a time frame I should be looking for? I'm definitely in the market for a 5v model, and have been pretty much set on a Prodigy, but would really like to see this new model before making my final decision unless it's going to be a year from now or something. Can't afford one right now, but probably not too far off. If there's a thread with updates about the new model, could you (or anyone) just link me there so as not to bug you here?
