Dealextreme had the even smaller iPhone style ones for under $5 at one point.

I know you guys are busy, but can we get a juice update? Waiting for some 60ml menthol 36mg to come in... it's my main vape now.

Okay, here's where I get confused. I stopped by a Radio Shack today and saw an iPhone charger with something like 500 milliamps. I understand we only need ONE milliamp to power a PT. So I was afraid I'd fry it, and didn't get it.

    I belive it's 1amp or 1000miliamps. 500 would be .5 amps.

But how can the PS PT require 1 amp if a computer's USB port only can output .5 amps? If it does indeed need a wall socket, I'm buying it.

    Damn myself.

I think I ran my passthrough over with my chair (wire portion)

BUT i am happy to report, while the cord is a little banged up..i am still in action.

At first i thought the thick cord was a little overkill. But i am glad Ps went the extra mile to find a super thick cord.

The USB ports on the computer itself will be limited to 500 milliamps (ma). Most passthroughs will work on this, but not deliver full vapor or hit. Also, some passthroughs could damage the motherboard of your computer ($$$)

A better idea is to get an extention called a USB Hub that adds more USB connectors to your computer. You can also use these separately from the computer, as they have their own power supply. It will protect the computer but may still be limited to 500ma.

Best is to get a USB that plugs directly into the wall and has nothing to do with the computer. Most of these deliver full power (1 amp or whatever is required) and you will get the full performance of high-end passthroughs like the PS PT. Amazon sells one by Coby that does the trick, and there are others.

Hope this clarifies things a bit.
