Talking Good for You

Congradulations to all of you who have turned to a vape instead of a deadly cigarette. I quit smoking 16 years ago when I learned I was preganant never returned. I always wanted to but I did not want to compromise my health or anyone elses, so I never smoked again. I saw the ecigarette in in small Rolling Stone article about Leo DiCaprio using them, did some research and found that this is is a healthier, cheaper and much greener way.

The FDA can't argue with the fact that ecigs are much better for the environment than cigarettes. Not to mention everyones over all health.

Everyone is right one day at a time.. I will always be suprised that it went so smoothly,, main thing I kept thinking was how much I liked vaping...that it actually was enjoyable lol... Good thoughts your way

Wow this is cool. never knew it would be this easy, so far, and after tomorrow (holiday), i think i will have made it over a hump that's been almost impossible before. As long as the juice i ordered comes in before mine runs out. I'm praying it does. It's funny because i do miss "burning" a little bit but every time i think about it, i notice i don't want to smell like it. then i vape and i'm cool. Plus I dont have to go outside (even tho we both smoked, we didn't smoke in the house because of the smell) It's been over two days... I see all of you do it so it makes me know i can even if it does get rough. I hope to encourage new members one day like you have me. thanks for being here.

It's definitely nice to curl up on the couch to watch a movie and not have to sit up to ash the cigarette or have to move away from hubby because the smoke is bothering him. And I don't have cigs burn away and taunt me with the money I'm wasting if I get busy typing or gaming .

Yay you're doing it!!!

Not having to go outside and interrupt your activities is one of the best parts! That and the stench of cigarette smoke.

My neighbors are having a bbq today and I might join them. They all smoke a lot, especially when drinking. Of course I loved this about them before because I could smoke with them and have a great time. Today I have 5 batteries and 2 PCCs fully charged so I'm loaded and ready to go! They like my e-cig but haven't been around it enough to be totally convinced. One of them ran out of cigs one night and asked if I had one and I loaned him the Blu until his friend came by with another pack for him.

Sounds like you picked a perfect time to give up analogs. Long holiday weekend... by Tuesday you'll have no problems going into the work week with no analogs. Good job!

it's amazing, isn't it? I kept waiting for the usual horrendous cravings, I had tried and failed to quit so many times...it was torture to even think about quitting!
but~ within a few days of getting my 510, cigarettes were just a memory! now I am forever free from cigs, it was effortless! I think I'm still in shock..I honestly didn't believe these things would work, but was curious and I'm so glad I gave them a try.... I am happy beyond words!

buttercrunch, i'm with you, i didn't think it would work either. that's why i had only ordered one for me and hadn't even mentioned it to my fiancee in fear of having to buy two of them only to have them not even work. After i found out it did work i had her try a krave disposable and now we're impatiently waiting for her 510 i ordered a few days ago. when she's around me, we'll share mine, so she has already cut down; but she's ready to stop smoking all together like i think i have. now i feel bad, but how can i lead a fiancee/wife in the right direction if i dont know it's the right direction! (at least that's my excuse i tell myself so i won't feel too bad) i'm so glad somebody invented these and i wish i had known about them years ago.

Best of luck and stay strong. Just think of the ill effect if you start craving an analog. Write them down on paper when you get a craving or watch a youtube video showing lung cancer or severe breathing problems. Face it head on!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I made it over the weekend including the holiday and through work yesterday. the good news is, i got my bottles of ejuice that i ordered, so now i'm good to go! I can now safely say i won't return to analogs if my equipment keeps working well. i plan on ordering some extra ecig equipment in a little less than 2 weeks (the break even point of all the e-cig stuff i ordered so far) so that i can have it on standby in case of equipment failure. I'm sure all you vets understand the "wow" factor that i'm experiencing; i'm still kind of in shock about how easy this is. once i get a craving, i just vape and i'm cool!

Thanks again!

Good for you- Only advice I got is keep buying supplies- make sure you got enough.

btw- I never hear people talking about e-cigars, what kind do you have. You should take some pictures of it- never can tell how good they look with crappy website pix.

Enjoy dude!
