Gotvapes Stardust: How to re-wick and replace the coil

Rebuilt my first stardust today used 36awg kanthal 4 wraps and wick from cov folded the wick seems to help wrap the wire couldn't get a ohm reading but the thing puts out good vapor and was popping a crackling away

Hey Willie, what wick do u use ?

I wish I could tell you, it's 1mm twisted about 8 strands. It's quite strong and shiny.

I bought it in a group buy. It could be CE2 or Bulli wick. But it works quite well, very transparent when it comes to flavor.

Doesn't a Thicker Wire have more Resistance than a Thinner Wire of the Same Length?

I thought the same thing until I re-coiled my latest carto's. I could have sworn thicker wire causes more resistance but after thinking about what I was seeing with my own eyes it finally clicked in. LOL Duhhh

I blamed it on having a nic overdose at the time.

Thicker wire has less resistance than a similar length of thinner wire. Think of a garden hose... water flows easier through a larger diameter, less resistance.
