Two of my other feeders have on/off switches and I got in the habit of shutting them off between vape sessions - one because the switch will fire the mod way too easily - and the other largely due to the placement of the on/off (my thumb touches it when I take it off the fire button anyway so it's just natural).

I've been shutting off my VVW pretty much all the time and have had battery life enough to consume the entire 6ml bottle.

A few days ago, I was just plain lazy with my VVW. I left it on all day. The batts were dead at just over 4ml consumed. I didn't think much about it and wrote it off to not really remembering when I charged that set of batts or if I had charged them fully or not. - I left the VVW on all day again the next day and had the same result: a little over 4ml vaped when the batts died. One more day, the same exact result. The following three days, I made it a point to shut off the mod between vape sessions. I only drained the bottle twice in those three days. Both times when I refilled, the batts were still charged enough to fire the mod.
What is this "between vape sessions" you speak of?

We shouldn't drain our batteries down to the not firing point....right???

Exactly! Only down to 3.5 on the 3.7V. I am pulling my 18350's out every day to charge. Charging after just a little use is much better than letting them get to low!

The AW rep on candlepower forum says draining below 2.5v can decrease their lifespan.

I tested my Tesla last night and metered the batts and left it on. This morning the batts read exactly the same with no drain at all.

My question is, six, what ohms is the carto or atty you are using and what voltage to you have your vv woodvil set to? That could make a big difference in how many ml you can vape per charge. Also which batts are you using - 18350s or 16340s? That also could make a difference.

    2.5 ohm i06 - ~4.7v - 18350 Same two pairs of batts.

My other PV with the same regulator behaves the same way. Battery life is significantly longer as related to consumption if the mod is turned off when not immediately in use.

That is strange because I have both a BP and a vv woodvil. I can get a full day use out of each of them. I only shut them down when I go to bed for the night or putting them in my pocket or purse.

Are you keeping them in sets and rotating the tops and bottoms with each use? Are you letting them rest before charging them and before you re-use them?
