Default VV Reo & Carto life

    Hey everyone.

So been using my VV Reo Woodvil since getting non stop. I am wondering if anyone else has been experiencing less carto life on them.

I have tried several different kinds:
    Boge 2 ohm
    Boge 3 ohm
    SmokTech 1.7 ohm
    SmokTech 2.8 ohm

And I seem to get about 24 hours on them before the juice in the carto turns really brown, the draw tightens up and it just starts tasting awful.

The juice I'm using is TastyVapor Geoffs Blend (as well as a number of others from them, sweetened and unsweetened) and they all seem to do the same thing.

    Any ideas?

I would imagine that cartos on a VV would be a challenge. I don't prefill mine. At 3.7 with a LR1.7 cartos I do squonk pretty often.

What voltage are you running? Could they be getting too hot? Do you prefill them?

I've tried prefilled and non filled (just squonked a couple times to get it wet). I do keep my cartos fairly wet (almost a slight gurgle).

As for voltages it varies on the carto. I generally don't run it too hot. Usually the 1.7 & 2 ohms would be around 4.1-4.3v

That is not too hot for a 1.7 to 2.0. Just a little above the new charged 18650. Is the filler in the ones tasting bad full? I am wondering if you are burning the juice.

No. The brand new filled cartos taste great.

Give it about 12-24 hours and the filler gets brown, burnt taste, and won't wick.

Weren't there some issues with Smoketechs recently? Sometimes I wonder about re-branding. Still the best reason for me not to use carto's. I get it that they aren't as expensive as some atty's.

Well they are a lot more expensive when you swap a new one every day or two like I did.
Compared to a new atomizer every month or two or more.

I've used exactly one cartomizer on my VV Woodvil and it lasted about 20 hours before I was pretty unsatisfied with the taste. But thats on par with my experience on my regular REOs as well. I was pretty much a carto a day guy until I gave them up.

There were some issues. I did run into a couple bad cartos. But I don't think these ones are bad. It's either something I'm doing or I don't know what.

Juice, I noticed yesterday on a tank for DW that she has run about 6ml through of an opaque (slightly tan) sweet cinnamon roll juice that the carto was very brown and the draw was horrible. Not sure what yours looks like before vaping. These carto's are from a lot bought in January this year, i don't recall the brand.
