It is a bit pricey, but so is a burnt leg or chest. I saw a cheaper one, I think it was called the 2cent token or something at around $5.

I was going to shove this thing in a mod. 2920L300DR Littelfuse PTC Resettable Fusesthere are a bunch with different specs. I am sure that there is a way to get it in a reo, but I would rather pay nine bucks and be done with it

I have used some resettable fuses they work great

Not really if you have a short in your mod you have to pay to have it repaired and you have to be without your precious for about 7 days . I think these are wonderful I hope it catches on and more people use them

Where would you put one of these in a REO? I'm not electrisically inclined.(Said in my best Ava Gabor voice)

On the negative end of your 18650 battery. It will stay put with a built-in magnet.

I just collapsed a spring on my woodville this weekend with a bad carto and It's headed off to Maine tomorrow for some spa time. Seems like these might have prevented mine from having to take a trip.

As an aside, I placed that carto on a vv woodville first and it wouldn't fire. So I guess the protection circuitry in the vv worked like a charm. Just wished I hadn't tried it on the woodville after that.
