I see that many people use the Panasonic CGR CH 18650 in the Reo. I would ask those who are used as if they are good. I know that these batteries have the pole plate. They are fine in the REO?

Thanks Honkey Kong, so you think the best of AW IMR?
I find them about the same at AW's..and mine don't have the "pole plate" that you mentioned...I think we call it a "nipple." Anyway, I use a little magnet on mine...works great. I think they last about the same because vapor disappears once the voltage drops to about 3.5V for me...they drop to that level about the same....I suppose if you were trying to keep using them after this (maybe not on a Reo), then the Panasonics might last longer (at least from test results).

Ok, thanks for the answers. I will try them.![]()
If you want in depth information (in German) and discharge curves to compare the performance of different secondary batteries - sk4477 and SabbelMR have a great thread with lots of good info here: Akkus, Stromversorgung, USB » sk4477's Akku Entladekurven (und mehr).
If you don't understand German and google translate returns nonsense, you can always look at the discharge curves.
Reading discharge curves isn't complicated: The energy we can use is represented by the area under the curve of the battery in question - between the top and the cut of voltage (for mechanical REOs around 3,6 volts). Or, even simpler: if a curve is always above another curve, then the higher curve will be better than the lower one.
