Vanilla based e-liquid
So about a month and a half ago, I had purchased a vanilla based juice from a local vendor in SoCal. After the initial steeping process of 24-48 hrs, I capped it and placed it in my drawer for a week. Unknowingly, the existence of this juice had slipped my mind and a week had turned into 2 weeks and so forth. I figured this was a plus reason being that as juice ages, the flavor enhances. After trying it, my initial thoughts were that it tasted kinda rancid, expired in fact. I'm not completely sure if I had received a bad batch or what not but I do know that although taste is subjective, that my taste buds can't be this outta whack. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

That sucks, I hate when this happens to me, your so excitied to try the new juice and then...it sucks! Well I would suggest just trying another flavor maybe from a different vendor, I have found for example that a cherry flavor from different vendors could taste completely different. Also, you may want to try it in a different atty/carto this can effect flavors. Good Luck

You should make sure what ever vanilla you chose does not have Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl. Check this ecf thread for more info.

Dont know what to say except i feel ya on this one. I have tried the Triple V (a vanilla eliquid) from dark city vapor which is very good. But I DIY most everything now. I found the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream flavor from The Perfumers Apprentice @ around 10% to be very good from beginning to end. I make a 50 ml batch and it is a lighter color at first. Its good. But it darkens eventually but is still good.
