Question PT wonderful - heat less so

So I adore my PT, use it all the time while I'm on the PC (I use the USB/AC adapter though, not in the PC USB port) but theres one thing that I;m starting to find I don't like so much about it - the heat it generates in my atty (510).
Most, if not all the juices I have atm, seem to prefer a slightly cooler vape. In my manual the taste quite different, even possibly 'better', even when I make the atty a bit hot by vaping it a lot.
But the PT - that thing gets RED HOT. Not 'I'm about to explode' hot but HOT HOT to the touch hot and I think it skews the taste (for me at least) of some of my juices.
I'm not sure if I can work out a way that it heats up less fast, apart from not vaping on it which seems to defeat the point somehow - I got it so I could use it a lot. I'm not really in the market for a battery mod at this time (maybe down the road some)
I *am* willing to concede I may be misusing it - I do tend to suck on it like I'm having hte best milkshake in the world from a bottomless cup () so if thats the issue then fair enough, just and I'll slink off
Any thoughts or do they (PTs) all run this way?

Info: Its the PT I got from Cignot along with my first PV, and other than the massive heat it generates it works wonderfully well.

no-one had an opinion on this - lol
Guess I'll just suck it up then and maybe vape a little less enthusiastically to avoid the heat (I could run a small town on the heat from this thing I swear).

I have a 5 volt VP PT and I have 6 cartridges attached to atomizers.
I line them up and switch cart/atom every 3-4 hits.
I put the one most recently used one in the back of the line.
Because I use them all sequentially and equally none of them are jealous and they all receive equal love.

Well if you're talking about a 5v PT then naturally it will get hotter faster than a standard 3.7. But one way to mitigate the heat is to make sure that it's always got plenty of liquid making it to the atty. The liquid functions as a coolant, so if the atty starts to get drier and you are still hitting it, it will get hot pretty fast - that's no good for the atty or for your taste and vapor quantity. Try modifying your carts with an alternative filler that more quickly wicks liquid, or you could try regularly dripping.

Otherwise, as already suggested, you'll just have to either slow down or rotate.

Mine gets really hot also, using a true Joye 510 atty. I have a couple of DSE 510's and they vape *much* cooler on my PT than the joye. I believe Valuevapor.com has the DSE510 atty's on sale for 4.99.

Its a 510 PT, usual 3.7 one - from cignot not the 5v wunderkind lol
So I just should stop goin nuts on it then really? It gets super hot - once I stop vaping it cools fast but yeah..ok..user error...figured as much lol

Oh and I direct drip with it - tend not to use carts that often.

Try dripping more quantity or more frequently. Unless you're REALLY pounding on it, a 3.7v PT shouldn't be getting a well-wetted atty *that* hot. You could also try blowing into the atty a bit between drags to cool it off a little quicker - that is, if you actually take a breath between drags! lol
