I started out dealing with EV and for the most part was great. They sold me some 'ego style' passthroughs last year and they sound like the same quality issues. They really did just fall apart!
I hope you can get warranty with that. I would suggest, as others have, to get your $ back and purchase a good product. (they refused to respond to me being unhappy about my batts, and I since moved on).
    Good luck

And this is one of the founding members of ECTA. I would have expected more, but that's just my expectations.

Kat responded to me this morning that they are under warranty, but she's going to get their tech guy to contact me in a couple hours to try a couple "fixes". One is completely kaput-top is completely off, wires are broken, etc. The other is still in one piece, but I have to be careful how I handle it or the entire top comes off, so at this point the one is beyond fixing (I'm not going to futz around with soldering, etc)

I put in an order to Canvape last night. Thanks to mac's post and mopar's specials thread in the supplier forum, I should be set for batteries and clearomizers for a while now!

This made me laugh more than it should have.

That's rediculous... Their "tech guy". I doubt they have a tech guy, even. Why would they not just allow you to return them? Anyways... glad you found Canvape

So far I'm very pleased with Canvape. Pricewise, it's the cheapest hardware I've seen. I put my order in last night around midnight-1 AM, this morning I had an email back thanking me for the order and to let me know they'd send the tracking info shortly. Got my tracking info and ship notification a few hours later, and just found out they automatically set up email tracking updates for me from Canada Post!

    Very pleased so far!

    To the OP,

Glad you were finally able to get in touch. All our products are under warranty and I've sent you an email with the next steps to claim this.

Our tech person has had a look at the photos you uploaded and made a recommendation - which we sent on to you.

We have become aware of a structural issue with the VV's - that when placed under pressure the connectors separate from the body. It's unfortunate - as these batteries had a high rating from many users. Several of our customers who routinely place ecigs in their pockets and purses have noted that there is a slight separation under pressure. We haven't seen anything like what happened with yours though to date.

We are in touch with the engineers at Visions to see if there is permanent solution to this issue. If there is not, we will be clearing out the item and sourcing a different version.

Sorry to hear this happened. We'll work to get new batteries in your hands asap.

    Regarding other comments,

If you have received an item from us that isn't working - PLEASE do be in contact. We always stand by our warranty policies and we always stand by our customers. If we're aware of the problem, we can work to correct it.

We do have a tech person on our team who takes apart a sample of every new item to check it for correct parts and connections - basically - to know that it will work the way it's supposed to.

As ALL OF US VAPERS in the world learn - there is a continual stream of new products on the market - not all of them do all they promise. We do work hard to identify any issues before bringing them to our customers in Canada - but we're gonna miss a few here and there.

So please - if you do notice an issue or a problem let us know. If it's a warranty issue (manufacture related) we'll make it right. If you've had your PV for awhile and want to share an observation - let us know also - so we can see if there are better products available.
