I love my NPRO! I've had it almost a month now and am completely off analogs. One of the batteries recently started acting up, I emailed them, and they're sending a new one. The original atomizer is still going strong, too (knock wood). By contrast, I recently ordered a generic RN4081 kit for my husband and nothing is working right. The whole thing's a dud, so I'm sending it back. Once I get the refund, I think I'll order a second NPRO kit. The only thing I don't care for are the NPRO carts. I'm not too keen on their flavor, they don't last nearly as long as the claims, and they're way too expensive. Those I ordered elsewhere, along with some liquid. All in all, though, I'm very happy. |

I like the pen style Njoy, it had some problems at first with burnt tire taste. I had to use it for 2 days to get past that. I have juice on the way that should improve the taste. Don't really like the taste of their carts.Overall I'm pleased and I bought it locally, the store said they guarantee them. Lots of vapor from the Njoy. |

Hi, I bought mine at the Pilot Truck stop because it was better than driving to KY and spending $60.00 on 2 cartons of analogs. After I found this site, I thought I maybe got screwed.... but still wouldn't have waited on shipping, etc... Anyway, day #1, I switched. There was a learning curve!!! But I really have no complaints. I'm filling my own carts, ok that's a pain, but not $2.00 a cart. At first the NJOY carts were lasting me all day, I am probably vaping more now. If the draw is hard, it usually means there is liquid on the outside of the cart. Limits the air flow. If you get a mouthfull of liquid, Either, the cart needs to be aligned with the little splines on the inside of the mouthpiece, or, try popping off the end cap from the mouth piece and swabbing that. Once you get juice in there, it has to get cleaned out, or it gets inhaled. I have to say that it works really well, once you get to know it. I have ordered a 401/2/3 but will probably keep this as my "old faithful", or let my Dad try to quit with it. It's getting a bad rap. It has really been OK for me. It wasn't a great price... but it saved me buying 2 cartons of analogs!! Nice to know I can pick up carts if I'm on a road trip!! |

Oh and BTW, I am on my original atomizer! Not sure what that is about. But this site made me really paranoid about when it was going to die!! I think it might be more about abuse than anything.....

Hi... I'm real new to the whole e-cig thing. I'm totally intrigued with the concept as I'm trying to quit smoking 'anologs'. Since I'm on the impetuous side, I purchased the Njoy Npro 'cause I could get a kit locally and I didn't want to wait for mail order. Obviously, I did next to no research beforehand. Anyway, I charged up my Npro and anxiously gave it a try. YUCK! It tastes horrible - like cow dung (or what I suspect cow dung would taste like if I smoked it). And it shoots liquid into my mouth which is extremely unpleasant, to say the least. I contacted Njoy and was told I probably had a defective atomizer and they sent me another at no charge - with a complimentary cartridge. I also purchased a spare atomizer at the same time since it appears from reading here that they go bad fairly often. I've tried both replacement atomizers and the new cartridge and am still having the same problem(s). The taste may be slightly better (not much) and it still spits liquid in my mouth. I contacted Njoy again and got this response: "What kind of cartridges do you like? I will make sure it is tested and you get a working product and the correct cartridges." I guess I don't understand how sending me the same type of cartridges as I had before is going to solve the problem. Sooo... I searched on-line and found this forum. I've been reading for days to see what, if anything, I'm doing wrong. It seems that others have used this product without these issues and with a fair amount of success. I'm hoping someone can give me some idea of what the problem is or what I'm doing wrong. Sorry for the length. I sure would appreciate any advice as I'd really like to make this thing work. Suzi |

Suzi, I'm pretty much a noob myself, and I have the Ncig (pen-style) rather than the Npro. But I have seen mentioned that the atomizers come coated with a "primer," which would explain that horrible taste you're tasting. I think you can clean the atomizer, but my NJOY distributor has not answered me how, and there's nothing about it in the manual. Just today, in fact, I posted on the atomizer cleaning thread asking for clarification. Maybe someone will answer and enlighten us both. As far as your question about carts, I can't help you. Maybe they sent you Ncig carts instead of Npro? Dunno. But good luck, and please, don't give up! NJOY gave me fits at first, trying to get it all right. But now I am happily and reliably vaping at whim, and learning more every day. Cheers, ~~Cheryl |

Thanks for the reply and encouragement, Cheryl! I'm really frustrated but I'm not giving up just yet. I'm right on the verge, however. I just can't handle the nasty taste. That, coupled with the liquid getting in my mouth, is disgusting enough to make me gag. It makes a gurgling sound when I draw on it even though I'm not drawing on it that hard. I'm sorry I tried this brand first as I'm afraid it may have put me off e-cigs entirely. Shoot... the 'aversion therapy' it's providing may be enough to get me off smoking. But that's not exactly what I had in mind when I made the purchase. Suzi |

What exactly does NJOY tell you when you describe the problem to them? Who are you dealing with there? Do you contact them by phone or by email? I bought from an Al Guastello (refillmynjoy.com ? Smoke Anywhere, Electronic Cigarette, Smokeless Cigarette, Njoy Cartridges, Njoy Refills), and after about a month of frustrating back-and-forths between him and "corporate," I am finally vaping reliably, whenever I want. But I was REALLY determined. I hope someone will post a safe way to clean an atomizer in case that's your problem. Meanwhile, I've read where some people just blow through the hole really hard to dislodge any gunk that might be in there. Doesn't work on my bad atty, but it's probably worth a try! Cheers, ~~Cheryl

My first e-cig was NPro, and it gives GREAT vapor, got my own juice as well, I like the Johnson Creek Original. I had one battery that was acting weird and it kept flashing and "cleaning" itself all the time until it finally burned out the atomizer as well. NPRO replaced both pieces, but it took like a week and a half to finally get set back up again, but I had to pay to ship them back. They are pretty good folks to deal with, but do phone them if you are having a problem, they don't seem to like having to e-mail!! DO ORDER and extra battery and a couple of extra atomizers, you will be ready for any glitch. They are a little higher than other's parts, but better that than to be without. I changed to a DSE-801, and love it, the cartridges are huge compared to NPRO, but about the same for vapor. GOOD LUCK to you, welcome aboard! |

I telephoned the first time. I guess it was corporate but I can't remember where I got the number. I don't know who it was that finally returned my calls after leaving 2-3 messages. That's the guy that told me it was most likely the atomizer. I emailed a Mark Williams when the replacements didn't resolve the problem. Someone on this forum said he was the 'go to' guy for Njoy and posted his email addy. He's the one that said he would send some new cartridges. ![]() I don't know that I have the fortitude to battle it for a month. I'm determined but frustrated. Suzi
