That seems very interesting! A double capacity cart would make the 4081 a contender to my 510. Personally, I like the brown carts. Sometimes it's good to have a vaporizer that looks like a simple traditional cigarette. I actually think that's one of the advantages to the 4081. Stealthy!

Double capapcity carts? Count me in! I love my 4081, and the small cart thing has had me miffed for some time. I am off to check out the double capacity carts right now.
    Thanks for the heads up!

Make sure and report on the double cap carts. I'd bring my 4081 back into rotation if the carts were bigger.

I bought four RN 4081's last year. The four batteries lasted several months. The four attys were going strong until I dropped one last month and it died. I converted the dead batteries to pass throughs complete with LED. I like my modified RN4081s because they produces endless vapor, requires very low drag and allow instant direct drip.

I was not able to find a good price on replacement RN4081 batteries so I bought a couple 510 kits for portable e-cig.

    510 advantages:

    1. 510 Kit available with 2 complete e-cigs (RN4081 used to come with 2 complete e-cigs on ebay).
    2. Unmodified 510 seems more consistent with stronger throat hit(wonder if atty will last like RN4081).
    3. Drag seems a bit easier but still requires more effort than I like.

    RN4081 advantages

    1. RN4081 is better weight balanced. Since RN4081 is shorter, it is not as tip heavy.
    2. Better for direct drip mod by cutting tip off of cart (plastic cart in mouth not the metal atty).
    3. Probably just luck but all my RN4081 parts worked for several months but one 510 batt was DOA.
    4. RN4081 Atty produces good vapor if used properly.

I would buy RN4081 again if I could find a good price in the USA.

Well, took the whole business week, but they're finally here!
Here are some crappy shots of the new 4081 double carts.

    I hope those show up.

Basically, the old carts are about 1-7/16", the new carts are about 1-3/4" or 5/16" longer.
The juice cups themselves are approximately twice the capacity of the old ones (a little less). Unfortunately, I haven't done much with them, as I've been using 0 nic for a week or so, and the carts I bought were preloaded with medium strength. So basically I'm struggling to puff my way through one, and the added capacity is not as welcomed just now.
In any event, these 'should' make a huge difference for my 'at work' e-cig:-)

I needed 4081 batteries, and everyone was out of stock. I picked up 6 DSE103 batts, and they're working just fine.

    New here, so hi everyone!

I purchased an SE Gold with 2 batteries at the local mall for an obscene price. I regret that I didn't do my research and find these forums before making the purchase, but the little beast at least has converted me to e-cigs.

I'm finding the stock carts to be extremely inconsistent, but have ordered liquid, so hopefully that will improve (hope it arrives soon, I'm spending a small fortune on carts!)

Everyone's posts here have me encouraged that, though overpriced, I at least may have ended up with a good product. Like others have mentioned, the guys at the Kiosk said they will take care of replacements, so that's a plus.

I have a Joye 510 on order, but I do like the size of the SE Gold. From what I've read here, perhaps I can look forward to it being a good backup for the 510.

Thanks for all the good info!

Mine is harder to take a drag on compared to my 901.
I use mine as a back up.
I wish there was a tapered cart like the 901's that would fit the SE Gold/RN4081.
If anybody knows of one that works please PM me.

    Thumbs up

My 4081 came from a kiosk called Sure Smoke, besides price, the only thing I see wrong is the weak juice they sell for $20, a 10ml bottle w/6.5mg nicotine. Also there's some kind of caulk in the carts to hold in the poly. That being said, dig out the caulk, add some fresh poly & some good juice & they're a vaping machine.
