    Welcome to our little corner of the e-cig world.
    The RN4081 is a good little unit, but is an outcast my quite a few folks. The 4081 is sold retail, and is grossly overpriced. People just think they're junk because of this, and don't give them a chance.

    Parts are really cheap, if you look around the Forum. If you want to buy in bulk, try;
    Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier

    Good prices, and great service.

    I'm very impressed by the atomizer in this, I've seen pics of different models, and this one just looks built better! I'm very happy with the vapor so far, quitting cigs has been a cake walk with this thing. Fits nicely in an altoids tin as well.

    Just be sure to keep the atty wet, but not so wet as to flood out the battery. The attys are pretty tough. I just lost my 6 month old atty when my passthrough fell off the kitchen table and went cold. If I had not dropped it, who knows how long it would have lasted.

    Took me a few hours to break in a new one. These 4081 attys are real vapor machines.

    yup, I've found a good balance on where the cutoff is between overfilled and underfilled carts.

    Sorry to hijack your thread, I'm not able to post my own yet. Just wonder about how many drops of liquid do you guys use to fill a RN4081 cartridge? How about to top one off that is still producing vapor but just at a reduced level?

    When you guys refill do you remove the filler and clean it, or just drip it back in with the filler still in the cartridge?

    Thanks for the info.

    I usually drop about 3 or 4 drops in the cart, and 2 drops in the atty. Most of the time I push up the inner sleeve but I sometimes get lazy and just drop into the cart.

    guitarman, I just got the same model e-cig as you, and yet, I cannot quite get those great vapor hits that you (and lots of others) seem to be getting. It always seems rather wispy... I have tried popping the end of the mouthpiece, dripping, and even taping off the holes. Are you doing anything specific? Or are the break in times on these things really extreme?

    I would definitely call customer support, 1-888-NOW-NJOY I had an atomizer go bad, and they sent me two new ones out. Kinda nice having the year warranty. I'm also using a half and half mix of PG and VG fluid, because the PG doesn't make quite as much vapor. Have you tried the "primer" puff? Just take a short drag to warm the atomizer up, and then take a nice long drag and see how that does.
