Default My first go at a mod

Posted this under the mod section but figured my fellow RN-4081 users would want to see it as well.

Been eye balling the chucks and another user that built one out of brass pipe and end caps, so I played around in the garage after work today and came up with this.

Note to future modders, USE A DRILL PRESS TO DRILL THE CONNECTOR HOLE, or it will end up crooked, like mine

Ugly as sin, but it works soooo good. Been hacking and coughing all evening trying to get used to the extra vapor

My boss has a metal lathe and milling machine, I may go play with it and see if I can make it smoother and prettier looking. Minus the batteries and super mini parts I already had, this build cost me 12 bucks for the brass, and 2.99 for the switch. I'm really happy with how well it does.

3.7v, but it can use two 3.7 batts as well. I think there are several batt options you can throw in this.

I think I'm going to figure out a way to put a USB end in it next, so I can plug a cable in when I'm sitting at my desk

Pretty good for $12. If I were to buy a chuck could I use my Njoy Npro atomizers carts on it? How much more vapor does it produce?

I'm using 2 mods at the moment. A box mod with the 4081, and a Protege with a 510. They really don't produce more vapor, but the batteries last 2 to 3 days.

This might give you an easy idea, a simple dowel with two thumbtacks, I made this for my prodigy.

VR59, thanks that's a great idea! I'm actually wanting to stick a usb end in my mod so I can just plug a usb cable in to it. I'm working on it now, with a mini usb I cabbaged from an old camera.
