New design RN4081 Atomizer?
I just received an e-newsletter from Aquavaporcigs.com. They are touting a new, improved atomizer for their RN4081 Super Minis. They claim the bridge is thicker, thus providing more consistent vapor production.
They also claim that they have a new battery with a less sensitive switch, eliminating the tendency for the RN4081 to start blinking after a short draw.
I'll be interested to hear more on this from someone who buys the new, improved version. I am especially curious about the atomizer. I love my Super Mini, usually, but sometimes I feel like I am trying to pull wet sand through the cart just to get a barely visible, wispy vapor. (Other times, I get clouds of the stuff - go figure.)

I just got a RN4081 atomizer from Aquavapor today. I turned in two a couple of days ago that were under warranty ( one Blew out on the very first vape, the other lasted 11 days ) I am using a 6-volt mod but I suspect they may have been defective from the beginning. I'm looking at the atomizer right now and mine doesn't look any different from what I remember but I don't have the old ones to compare. When the replacement atty's arrive I will see if there is a difference and report back here.

there are definitely at least two designs of 4081 atomizers that i have come across,
some have a serial number printed on the outside of the steel tube, one hole and a wider bridge that work much better than the ones with no serial number, two holes, and the skinny bridge
I reject your reality, and substitute my own

my newest and favorite mod, I call it... the cat box

I can confirm this.
The original atty in my SE vaporizer (yeah, they suckered me in) died the other day (it was the two-hole one), so I went in and the guys at the kiosk replaced it for me no problem with a one-hole that looked slightly different (hey, at least they stick to their 12 month warranty!).
This thing now produces an insane amount of vapor compared to my old one that's it's crazy... I'd say it even produces as much as the videos of some of the 510s I've seen.
If anyone knows where I can order the better, one-holed attys, let me know. If I can get my hands on a few of the better ones, maybe I won't feel inclined to upgrade to the 510!

Just to add to what I already said, based on the description they gave you in the newsletter, they probably carry the same one I've got, i.e. the better one.
I may order one of their attys (and batteries) in the next few days, since I do want a spare of both, just in case. I'll report back with what I find if and when I do!

Is the RN4081 they sell the "Super Electronic Cigarette"? I saw that and all the parts looked similar, but I wasn't sure. And they're the "better" attys?

Tachion, Yes, the RN4081 that TW sells is called the "Super E. Cigarette". I received my Super E. from TW last week, and the box had RN4081 printed on it.
I'd be interested in the new version of the atomizer. I have an atomizer coming from Electronic Ash this week, as well as some extras from TW. I'll see if they correspond or not.
I also ordered some of the double capacity carts for the RN4081. The capacity of the cart was the only real complaint that I would have if I had to pick something out that is wrong with the RN8041.

They just came out with a 1 piece cartomizer to fit the 4081. that might be what they're talking about.

I got some replacement rn4081 attys from nosmoke4u (dot com) - and they are definitely bigger and better bridges. They also have the one of the only push-button manual batteries I could find for the rn4081, and the shipping is cheap- only $5.00 for pretty much whatever you order. Their website is pretty basic, but the owner- Chip, contacted me personally with each order to thank me, and everything came in 3 days by priority mail.
