Hubby lost the tip to his rn4081 - the little round part that covers the glowing bit. We can see the insides of it, the computer chip and all that stuff. It still works but it looks awfully weird and since he stuffs it in his pocket, it probably won't last too long that way.

We've looked everywhere, with no luck. Any ideas what we could use as a replacement, or where we could get a replacement?

If -everything- else fails. I would suggest Superglue as a sealer.

if I could find the tip, I'd superglue it back on, but we can't even find it we'll have to just find something else to use & toggle something together, I guess. I'm thinking... something sort of contact-lens shaped & sized... but no idea what??? I look around the room and see... nothing helpful

I was suggesting just lots of superglue, maybe 3 coats of it. That should hold it all inside so it wont break, for a better looking solution you will need to look to someone else.

Do you have a dead 4081 battery? If so, take the cap from that one and put it on the one that has the cap missing. However, I have had several in the past do the same thing and I just kept using them without the cap
