I obviously read through this entire thread and see that a combination of dripping, mixing VG or PG and e-liquid until you get vapor, and It seems popping the end cap off the stock carts has helped a lot of people as well. I have not yet ordered any e-liquid therefore I also have not dripped. And when I popped the end cap off my stock carts to try that method I noticed the reservoir was filled with liquid. I figured if I wiped the liquid away I would just be diminishing the life of the cart so I replaced the cap and gave up.

So these are my questions. First, what brand of e-liquid should I buy to get the best vapor (and also a decent throat hit) with my SE RN4081. Second, although I will eventually be dripping, I often will be at work or on the road and using carts for convenience. So should I pop the cap, wipe away whatever fluid is there and put it in my pocket?
get liquid and drip 3 drops on the atty. my rn 4081 (se gold) works perfect like that. camel liquid from eastmall is awesome

If you have one of Rick's Copper Mod, the RN 4081 gets a great vape and the RN 4081's are durable.

Just got the Smoking Everywhere gold (the RN 4081 apparently) from a kiosk in massapequa LI, and the battery lasts 2 hours or so. Reading earlier in the thread, i noted the 'poorer' peejee batteries had the same serial mine does (909152 i believe). Still reading and learning about care and mainance of my vaper but while I have the hard pull issues many have mentioned, it's otherwise decent. My wife alas got a cheaper (relatively speaking) vape kit, a cheap analog-style box, and pink *wince* vaporizer, and it was doing nothing for her, so she's back to analogs. Know they've probably been mentioned, but anyone have suggested sites for the RN 4081 parts and accessories?

My problem with the SE Gold is 2 hour battery life and constant filling. It doesn't hold enough juice in those iddy biddy carts. I get lots of vapor for 10 or so puffs then - refill. Yes you do get throat hit but I had to move on. I still have it and use it occasionally to make sure it's working still but it is mainly an "emergency" backup.

I also hate that I paid over $100 bucks for this at a kiosk in a mall but it was my first venture into the e-cig world and got me started so I can't complain there. It was enough to keep me off analogs for about a month until I got tired of refilling. I then decided to upgrade to a bigger, more popular e-cig.

I've used a 4081 atty with a "double size" cart on my Screwdriver via an adaptor from Liberty Flights.

I must say that - apart from the fiddly "inner cart" arrangement that the 4081 shares with things like the 401 - I'm very impressed - excellent hit and good flavour...

anycig.com cheap prices for accessories. Approx 20days for delivery only draw back is they don't carry the double sized carts, which I'm having problems finding in Canada

Default dripping on the SE Gold One

If you're dripping directly on the atomizer, how long should that be good for? I'm worried about burning it out!

This is a really long thread and I'm a noob; i've read most and just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in and ask a question.

Like many of you, I got robbed at the mall for $135 for the SE Gold One (I chose the gold batter/cig end, vs. the one that looks like a real cig, because I'd like people to know right away that i'm not smoking a real cig... not trying to stand out). The vapor is pretty good, the battery life seems great, and the default cartidges are satisfying. BUT, I tried removing the end cap, and it worked, but offered very little difference for throughput/suction required, and I believe it is there to catch an excess drip, so I put mine back on.

Here's one interesting thing; I went down to a tobacco store near my house and they had the drops; another impulse buy. I paid $30 although it is a sizeable bottle but it s "No. 7" e-liquid (high, as are the cartidges that i got with it originally). Adding the drops does produce a better vapor, but this is strange; it actually stings the back of my throat. I've been smoking for 25 years and the only other time I felt something just like this is when I was a kid, and we had wrapped some dead leaves in some newspaper and smoked it.

So, I started taking smaller drags. My gut tells me that I should have gotten some other liquid. And I need more than one battery...

Where is a good place to get replacement batteries/parts for the 4081 (especially ones that look less like a cig; i.e. blue light at the end, odd colors, etc.)? And how about slim tips (this thing is a bit heavy)? And finally, what liquid and strength, in this e-cig, do you think would most likely duplicate a Marlboro Ultra Light 100?

Oh one other big question; does anybody know if the absorbtion rate of the vapor is equal to cig. smoke? In other words, why do i still feel more satisfied after smoking a real cig vs. this? If it's feeding my nicotine addiction, why do I feel like I need more? Is it just psychological?

Thanks guys for teaching us about this stuff; I'm gonna get all my family and friends into this.... I'm SO glad these were invented, cuz I have NO plans on stopping my habit... but replacing it with a twin.... sounds good...
