Kansas City, MO: Regional Monthly Meetings

I am only off on Mondays from both jobs.

KC Area noob here as well. I'm all for attending a meetup in the area. I wanna see everyone's cool PV toys and plan my next purchase!

Riverside, MO is still smoke friendly and pretty convenient to most of the metro area. Crazy Olive's (Sports Bar) at the Argosy would be perfect for a small gathering.

Anyone else up for this?

Well this didn't go very well, maybe it's as I thought and there is only a few vappers in the KC area. As I never see any around town.

Here I am!!! Seriously! I have been vaping in as many public places as I can to try and get just a comment and nobody says ONE WORD!!! LOL! Just now found this thread - so trying to read thru to the end - but was excited to even see KC here!

Ok, last post here was March.

So what would be the goal of getting together for you guys? Me? I'd just be so totally interested in meeting fellow vapers! Are you interested in meeting in a bar that allows smoking for the convert potential?

I'm in Overland Park - but see that the majority of you are up north - which is totally ok! I'd really go anywhere - because i can VAPE N DRIVE!! I recently ran across this place that I really liked - it's in probably Lenexa - about 103rd/Pflumm. It's called the Stonewall Inn. This comes to mind because it's summer and they have a HUGE patio area with seating (very shaded) - bar inside (meaning serve cocktails) - great menu - not very expensive. Very friendly and very, very casual/laid back.

I vaped and vaped and my sis and I sat out there for hours! Again, nobody said one dang word to me!!

Anyway - post here or PM me if you guys are interested. We could try to schedule a get together for July. We could even rotate areas from month to month.....

Thanks for the PM, Blue. I had not revisited this thread in a while, but I ran into SkeeterKCK yesterday, and we discussed getting something going.

If Mother Nature keeps the heat on, we may be better served meeting inside at a bar/grill in a 'burb that still allows smoking. I know Riverside does. I also believe Belton and perhaps Raytown are still smoke-friendly. Since there are so few of us, lets just set a place/date/time for a couple of weeks out and make it happen.

Upthread, Skeeter says she can make a Monday meet. Monday OK with anyone else?

Depends on if I'm "in state" or out. Travel has me gone a lot this time of year.

I know the Applebees in Gladstone allows smoking still and they have decent food and drinks cuz I happened to stop there last week and was surprised when they asked me if I wanted smoking or not. Told her I don't smoke and I liked saying it.

Only took me 43 years to be able to say it tho.

Well, what the heck...Lets do this.

I'll be at Crazy Olives, the sports bar in Argosy Casino (not in the casino, but in the building) on Monday, July 25th at 7PM. I'll try to bring some of my converts who aren't on ECF, and pack a bag with some flavors to swap/sample. Bring your flavors (and some empties) if you want to share.

This joint has great drinks and really good food, priced about the same as a Chili's or Applebees. Right off of 635 and MO 9 Hwy in Riverside. Vaping (and smoking) still allowed there.

Please reply on the thread or PM me if you are attending. Monday evenings should be pretty slow, but if we have a big enough crowd, I may need to make arrangements beforehand.

Wow great to see you planning a vape get together! Unfortunately the timing is really bad for me right now and I'm really busy with my business and have business related travel through the first week of August! Hi everyone.

Just had my 2 year vapesary in March. Would be interested in hanging. I dont buy much cool stuff but I try to stay up on the cool things around.

Currently vaping a Madvapes adjustable voltage box with various cartos and home made juices(Mostly TPA flavorings).

We had a couple meet ups with peeps around town but that all kind of fell apart and have not hung out since about a year or so ago. I was able to make it to Midwest Vapefest which was one heck of a weekend!!

Would be excited to get a big meet up going but I am very busy with Family and work. I work m-f days and then go home and spend the evenings with my Lovely Wife and kidos(2 and 3 years old). I would be free most Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday after church until about 10PM.
