Sal Governale from the Howard Stern Show talked about e-cigs on the air Tuesday.......I have him to thank for sparking my interest, I've been here almost constantly since Tues. afternoon. Love it!

Haven't gone and read all the previous posts yet, but...

I am just now able to log on for the first time in 2 days. (roughly since about 5 pm central yesterday afternoon). I just kept getting a server timeout and failure to load message. However, I notice that others do not seem to have this problem. highly frustrating, especially when waiting on a Prodigy.

I got SJ's message the other day, just wanted to vent a little.

I have IE and I couldn't access the site for TWO days! ALL of yesterday, and couldn't get in until just now ~9:45pm PDT.

You mean the site wasn't down for everyone???????

    What's going on??????????????????????

Didn't they say they were putting in a bigger server this week, after last week's outage

Oh, okay. Thanks for letting me know it wasn't something other than the server.

Yeah, that was supposed to solve the outage(s) problems.......

Were they putting in the new server which is why the site was down?

Yes SJ is installing a new server to keep up with the growth of the forums. He is experiencing larger bandwidth bills and slower service due to the larger amount of traffic to the site.
One large problem I see that would help is Example here.....
Currently Active Users: 212 (112 members and 100 guests)

Low numbers due to it being 2:00 am est but you see 212 members on the forums. but only 112 that are registered contributing members. The other 100 are NON members (not registered) To save money and increase up time for members (IMHO) The forums should be closed to anyone who is not registers. This means if you are not logged in with a user name you can not read or post. This would save a lot of bandwidth, costs and increase speed & up time.
