There are are sections of this forum that I do not have access to at this point?

I just read a 28 pages thread and clicked on a link that took me to a page that said I cant access for some reason..?

If anyone have any idea if there are sections on this forum that for some reason regular users like me cannot access please PM me...

Can you post the link that took you to the page you could not access?

Only things I can think of are:

1: thread and/or post that was referenced was deleted.
2: link was to a "members only" thread for a group you have to be a member of. like the Atheist vapers group is private. i would have to ask to join and be accepted in order to view threads.

I had the same experience, but now I don't remember where the link I clicked was. I was thinking maybe paid members have a private forum, but I guess shivadance has answered it.

Here's the message I get if I try to view a thread in a 'private' group:

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Same error but I just tried again and it is not a private group...

It's a private group from what I can see. I can't even find the "join group" button. Ah, on the welcome page Noodles says to shoot her a pm if you want to join:

They have 7 threads going but we can only see the public welcome message I posted above. So PM Noodle. Mystery solved!
