Default Why no KR808D-1 model-specific reviews forum?

Why is there no model-specific reviews subforum for the KR808D-1? It is marketed by different vendors under different brand names, e.g., Vapor King, Zeus, Easy Cig, NHaler, etc. It's the 2-piece "cartomizer" concept.

There are separate forums for the virtually identical DSE801 and RN4072; plus the forum for the similar (but incompatible) M201 has only one thread.

And why isn't Prodigy included among the examples of the mods along with SD and GG, and instead of that last example I never heard of?

Hi Don. Well, let me put it this way: It took me about 3 months of what I would call almost constant nagging (lol) to finally get SJ to put a subfourm in for the mini pipe. When it first became popular, there were several threads made about it which were getting buried so each time someone asked about it, I literally had to do a search for some links just to get them some information.

Then voila! It was created! (By SJ of course....I don't have any power to create subforums at this time.)

Personally, I think most of the devices should have a subforum just because trying to find something on the main review board is horrendous. I was looking for Cosican's review of all the major mod types and I had to go through 5 pages before I found it. A newb is probably not going to do that.

So, I agree....but it's only going to happen when things slow down a bit for SJ and he can get around to it. That's about the best answer I can give you right now.

Maybe when SJ gets some other things taken care of here, he will add some subforums if he knows there's an interest. So I encourage others to post what models they would like to see there too so SJ can see it. But I can't make any promises of when it will happen. Sorry!

Default Why make lateral purchases? Buy an adult e-cig!

I read your post in the UK forum about not being able to stop yourself from buying e-cig stuff. [I wanted to comment there, but they don't let Yanks post.]

I look at that list of all your devices in your signature ... and then you say you've ordered yet another!

[The KR808D-1 was my first device. It's simple, convenient, good throat hit, adequate vapor, not very good taste. I think it probably is a good starting choice for a newbie. I went through 2-3 cartomizers/day, so it was getting expensive ($1.20 per cart from Mist-Stix was the cheapest I found). You can extend their life a little by dripping into the battery end. The overall experience (for me) wasn't cutting it. The 801 penstyle was a marked improvement (but I got sick of swapping out batteries every hour). The Prodigy is heaven.]

Buy a Prodigy (or a GG if you prefer), Crash, and be done with it!

Hey Don I refuse to buy the GG just because of the fact their constant going out of style. I read through all their threads and decided against it. As far as the Prodigy goes I would love to own one but I don't think I need anymore power that I'm getting out of SD 3.7v I think. And plus I believe the Prodigy is a little bigger in size. I should probably update my signature as I own a few more items not on the list now, or maybe I should put quantities next them that might shock a lot of people. However I just wanted to say that I've decided on my next purchase which will also be my last until some new model comes out that I absolutely must have. I'll be placing an order for the I-olite when I get paid, not to replace a e-cig but for the simple fact that I used to love smoking sheesha or hooka whatever you want to refer to it as. Don you're more then welcome to join the UK sub forum, there's a few Americans on there (former texan here but I live in Ireland now though.) Oh forgot about the 2 piece I generally get more use out of the carts if I take the bottom off and then refill them and let it sit for awhile. I keep doing that until the atomizer stops performing.
