    Default Search feature

I noticed that the option so "search with google" right above the regular search method is missing. Then, when I use the regular search, I'm redirected to: Custom Search Engine

Not sure if this is an isolated incident.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, and browsing the web using Mozilla Firefox 13.0.1

ETA: Same results with all addons disabled and after closing/restarting Firefox

It's working again after clearing all history. Sorry for the trouble.

We're experimenting with the position of that searchbox right now, so please expect some minor glitches in that area until we have got it right. Most likely the fault was at our end since you probably visited a page just at the moment our coder was in the middle of doing something, and then your PC 'saved' that arrangement.

We want to make the Google search the primary search facility as it works far better for most ordinary tasks. For some specific tasks, though, the forum's own search is the only one that works - so we have to keep both. What will probably happen is that the Google search will go where the forum search is now, on the navbar, and the forum search will go into one of the dropdown menus.
