Is Parked only selling Janty products? The limited suppliers I've read about seem to sell only one brand. I got the impression that Parked's operation is more like a retailer (for lack of a better word) than a supplier from one brand. A Walmart more than Brand store. If so, maybe that would require a new label. It would make sense that he would carry the items he's tried and liked. I guess time would tell if he changes his offerings and replaced quality with cost cutting, but I don't see that as the situation right now. I know I still value his reviews.

I think as e-cigs gets bigger, the lines that are so black and white in it's infancy, will become gray in many areas, and may no longer fit. For instance, Cash is a moderator with "delete" powers. If we didn't know Steve to be a good honest guy, that would be kind of questionable. Just my opinion but I haven't seen any reason to distrust Parked, and btw, I haven't purchased anything from him. I think many of the members who are passionate and motivated will become involved in some aspect in the future of e-cigs.

I don't think there is anything wrong with him selling. I do think he is a good guy. I have not bought anything from him yet either. It makes sense that he would carry all the products he likes and I have no issue with the fact that he gave good ratings to devices he now carroes.. I would want to carry stuff that I thought was good also... BUT... I think his reviews should stay on his website then and as I said before.. the threads should remain with the replies from other people sharing their opinions on the same products.

This might have happened to at least 20 of you. It's coming from dietsmokes.com but stamps.com doesn't know the difference that is why you got the e-mail

So there's your explanation :-)

Videos-

No i don't think my videos should come down I gave them a fair shake if a product sucks i will tell you no matter what company it is. I have done this on a few models etc..... My videos are how I started and should stay up i believe this is a part of "Parked" and who I am.

Also 75% of these videos were done before I knew I was getting in the business.

In the future new videos will be in my section I will not post them in that section. They will now be in my own forum

yeah i would just like to congratulate you on your site too. i wish you the best of luck!

i would also like to congratulate you on the fantastic marketing strategy that you have slowly built up in order to self promote the products that you are now selling.

you may well be selling great products at a great price, but quite frankly the whole thing sucks.

to strike up a friendship with Mr Janty, build a great looking website, employ staff, purchase a 3000 square foot warehouse, set up the business etc etc etc is not something you casually done overnight. this was premeditated months ago if you ask me.

you say you wont remove your reviews because 75% of them are on products that you dont sell. well that still leaves 25% of your self promoting reviews PLUS i think you will find that 100% of your reviews are breaking the forum rules with regards to suppliers NOT being allowed to post ANYTHING in the reviews section.

2 months ago, someone said to me that you worked for Janty and i told them they was talking rubbish........now, i realise it was at least partly true. plus it certainly explains why YOU said to me that you had "boxes" of the same model e-cigs just "lying around".


i fully realise i will no doubt recieve a massive backlash from the other guys who have posted their support for you and your "new" business.............but you know what, someone has to say it.

but dont get me wrong guys, im 100% confident that it will be a great site, with good products and good service............its just that the way he has gone about it is plain, simple, BOLLOX!

ps........and answer kates question...........3 or 4 times she has asked you to state the forum affiliates.

People are aggravated because we all feel a bit "deceived" and lied to. We all know that it took months to set up this operation and the intent to become a supplier should have been properly stated. That being said.. what is done is done and it is a learning experience for everyone.

I wrote to Parked and Cash and said that I thought that the fact that Parked opened ONE day before Pure Smoker's grand re-opening was a bit shady and unfair and the timing should seriously have been reconsidered.

Parked did not address my comments.. only my praise that the store was well put together and the idea for the superstore was genius (which it was... and Cash tried to do the same thing.. but one item at a time... since it takes a lot of funding to do something like that).

Cash said he knew for some time about it and had chatted with Parked about it and was okay with it.

Of course Parked has every right to do this... it is a great idea and someone was going to do it eventually.. it is great that he had the resources to do it! BUT.. what people seem to be having issue with is that fact that it went down so shady and secretive.

I can understand that frustration... and yes.. Parked should answer Kate's question. We are tired of being in the dark.

I find it kind of troubling that Kate's questions went unanswered regarding those forum members to whom he was affiliated.

It casts a little bit of a shadow on certain individuals here (and from Texas), and it's always best to get that cleared up.

For those fuzzy with Texas geography, I'm over 3 hours from him!

He's acknowledged an affiliation with JantyUSA. Much as I hope his venture suceeds, if I'd known that I probably wouldn't have ordered from him. I have a very short ".....list" of vendors not to order from. Actually it consists of one... JantyUSA. I feel kinda like I was backdoored into ordering from them anyway.

I've gotten very poor service from janty and am in the middle of trying to get a refund from them. I don't blame Parked my any means for Janty's customer service, but the fact that he's now mysteriously "working" with/for them make me a little dubious about the bias of his vids.
