I personally take 'professional' reviews with a grain of salt. Whether it be for e-cigs, liquids, DVD players, movies, whatever. I listen to what the reviewer has to say, but consider the opinions of the 'everyday joe' to be just as important, if not more.
Bleeding edge adopters have always had to deal with only having industry reviews for new products. It simply takes a while for consumer feedback to appear. No matter the product, if you choose to be an early adopter, you choose to take some risks. If I'm making a high-dollar purchase, I personally am waiting to see what my fellow consumer thinks as well.

giving a code and saving money for people is a good thing . Doing a review to sell a code for referals to allow the reviewer to get more freebies then will bias the review..it has too.
Don't get me wrong , this isnt a bash at all you "reviewers" out there. I had reservations about terra but after actually watching some of his vids I find him quite a character and my initial prejudices have changed , and Igetcha is a down to earth Londoner who i can identify with and had some great helpfull how-to type vids and I can respect the time and effort these guys put in to the vids they do.
What would please me is a sticky in the review section explaining exactly how the discount code scheme works, and maybe even a line under each review stating some like " ALL PRODUCTS REVIEWED SUPPLIED FREE BY E-CIGS R US" or something to that effect.
I've actually stated, in reviews of products that I didn't pay for, that I've either been given them by a friend or they were supplied to me by the distributor.
I will, though, go back and add, in writing, that I was given the product for free because I never want anyone to be able to question my integrity.
I want to be completely up-front about everything I do and make sure that nobody every gets a false impression. I'll go do that, now.

which is why it should remain. i love this place because things don't get swept under the rug or moved to the last page because of some hidden good ol' boys network. what's done is done. there was plenty of opportunity to come forth and/or answer open and honest questions.
imo

Of course, little was made of this when I mentioned it in my previous thread, so maybe this was what it took...
I must agree. While I do think it IS fair to leave ONE post in this thread questioning Parked and ONE post with his reply justifying his reviews.. I do not think all these posts "bashing" need to be here... this thread is a warning thread of sorts for newbies and Parked has not had poor customer service or shipped out any faulty product yet (though he may if he is selling Janty Dura's lol!) so it is not fair to bash a new supplier who has not done anything wrong to any of his customers except for those that feel a little decieved.. and that can be resolved by not buying from him if it makes people feel better.
I also was convinced by Parked's review of the Dura C and if I do not like it.. it will be my own fault beause I made the decision to buy it even after the negative Dura reviews. We all know there is the option of waiting until a product comes out to a bunch of people to see what they think before we buy it.. if we get anxious and jump on it before it is properly widely tested... we deserve to get what we get.

Terraphon-- your reputation with reviews is above reproach--to hell with these unrealistic standards and passing of judgment that is going on here---If someone likes standing in judgment, that speaks volumes about them--making derogatory judgments without careful restraints is outright dangerous---------Sun

I don't think I bashed Parked, I just wanted some honest answers to what's been going on. I do not want my posts or the posts they referred to moved.

The guy did nothing wrong. Leaving this thread is hugely misleading and can and will affect his business.
We now have another supplier with a lot of stock and a wide range of product at good prices. He's obviously committed to the growth of his business so for this thread to be in the 'blacklisted' area is insane.
Forum drama because people are bored or in bad moods is one thing, but this goes way beyond that and can affect a decent person's livelihood.

Technically, I don't think he has broken any rules. There is no rule that someone who MAY become a supplier cannot post reviews before becoming a supplier. I think this is called growing pains...
Let's not limit this to Parked... here is a review by Deficit of the Vapor4Life Vapor King http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...w-deficit.html. Deficit is now working for Vapor4Life, but I'm 99% sure he wasn't when he posted this. He loved the product, met the owner, and at some point after that started working for them. Is this review now a problem? I'm not sure...
