No, there's no thread yet. I'm going to be editing some videos and adding the codes to them. Also, all videos that I release in the future will have discount codes at the end if the review is for a liquid whose vendor has supplied me with one.

Obviously, I was hasty. But to clear things up for all of my reviewer friends who I would not lump into this category:

I am on the Internet far and wide and my assertion that a newbee who pops up with a glowing review and a coupon code IS a spammer. Period. No Posts before, just got an e-cig and now seems to know everything about e-cigs, enough to review a unit and put all of their eggs into a basket with one supplier... my guess is that is a spammer. And DrLongJohn can also be found on electriccigarettereview.com with the exact same review. Doctors Welcome!

As far as everyone here, I would hardly put any of the active members of this forum into that category. Your proven activity automatically eliminates any of you from the above statement, unless of course, you do have an affiliation with a particular supplier and you are brilliant at hiding it. What you guys do is a great service for the industry and your names have been made. Singling out Leaford was a silly joke and well, obviously a bad one.

Either way... my apologies for not being more thoughtful with my original statement.

God help Johnson Creek if they give you a coupon code for any review you did for them lol! I really want one from them though and they won't give anyone a code. I am going to email them and ask if I do a review will they give us a coupon code. Maybe I will write Dusty 1st and see if he tried to get one from them.

You should post your codes after your videos (I mean post them all collectively after each video once you get a bunch ).

i dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but there is some guy called "Parked" who has done lots of reviews for e-cig products but it turns out he is actually a supplier. i applaud his quite brilliant marketing strategy of conveniently reviewing all of the very products he sells though! lol

I think it was mentioned somewhere else, if a person becomes a supplier should all their reviews be removed (or soemthing like that)

the store only opened on 3/19 so its very new.

well, suppliers are not even allowed to post in the review section yet alone actually review the products they sell.
but yes, it has just opened so lets see what happens!

i have nothing against Parked, i like the guy! but he made a choice to become a seller and should act accordingly and delete his posts in the reviews section.

as i said, a quite brilliant marketing strategy.

I'm not sure it's so clear cut Scott. Parked says that 75% of his reviews had no commercial interest so not all of them are potential product promotions.

I agree with the point that reviews should be independent, people expect consumer experience on the reviews board, not advertising.
