At one point last evening, early, I noticed that there were as many visitors as members (over 200 each). That could be a good thing...more people are hearing about them and want to find out more. Or, it could be a bad thing...someone is trying to cause trouble (I know, a "conspiracy" isn't likely but with ASH, you never know).

As to why it's happening - we've unexpectedly hit 16 thousand plus visitors per day over the last week - that's up from 12-13 thou per day the week before.

That's a big jump, and it's bad timing that we haven't yet got the new server in place.

However, it should be up and running in the next couple of days - and will be if our load testing takes place as it should tomorrow.

The surge in hits to the site will probably continue as more and more people are exposed to e-cigs. Hopefully the courts rule favorably, and industry growth will continue to skyrocket.

When I first joined in March 09, there were around 5000 members, if I'm mistaken somebody correct that, so this Forum and the World is waking up BIG TIME. Wonderful thing, aside from the overloads!
