(Sorry, its just that I'm getting to where that phrase 'act of congress' even anywhere near a sentence or topic having anything even remotely to do with PVs at all makes me really really nervous) :P


I think I'm noticing a pattern a bit with the "The server is too busy at the moment" routine.

I can't be sure, but the past couple of days make me think it seems maybe it hits worst around 8PM EST. Will take a few more days of trying to notice. It seems like it becomes a real intense problem making the site non functional for a while before then gradually nearly clearing right up again.

maybe we'll all have to to notice what time it is when it hits.

the server may be attempting to move which might explain this. Admin will be in sooner or later for an official response.

We have had a couple of problems with the server move, and with any luck will have sorted things by the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience.

making a note: the vbulltin too busy mesages just started at 4:42-4:45PM EST today, Thursday October 22nd (just in case this means anything to anyone in the know). I was looking around at my own posts to see replies when it happened. Came here to report.

Edited to add: I got two of the vbulletin messages in a row then it let this one in (will see if this edit goes in the first time or not). Maybe I spoke too soon. I've just been able to edit two times in a row without the message.

I will TRY to remember to come back in here and report when I think they've started to ease up (but that's sorta like knowing exactly when a headache went away, harder to notice).

UPDATE: so far I haven't had any more vbulletin messages since the ones I posted about here and its now 5:16pm (EST) by my computer clock

5:58 PM to 6:03PM -- a whole bunch of the messages out of the blue, got slammed with them too many to count, couldnt go anywhere (wonder if this even is going to post)
