when can i post in other parts of the forum?

just as the title states.... everytime i start a new thread in the other parts of the forum, it says i cant...

Yeah, 15 posts and you'll have full access to the forum, be able to post links etc.

Just an anti-spammer precaution as I understand it.

you just cant start new threads out side new mebers section untill you get 15

that is true but you can also create one in help. which is where this was moved to.

So....why does it say I can't post a new thread in the general discussion area when I have over 100 posts? Is it because a mod gave me a 2 point "infraction"? Is this some kind of permanent ban from posting threads? Nothing in the notice I received said anything about being prevented from starting threads.

Any help will be appreciated.

It also says I can't edit my posts? Is this just a problem with the new server, or should I feel like I'm on some kind of Double Secret Probation?
