Avatar message? Help>>>

I am trying to change my avatar and it does meet requirements but when I try to upload it I get a message saying I can not upload animated images... I am wondering what this means- I have seen other posters who only have 3 posts that have a moving/animated avatar... I have many more posts but it won't let me... Is there some other reason for this?

all depends on where it is hosted. some members have their avatar hosted online and merely link to it. this avatar issue stuff is new to me really. just my take on why it might be working for some and not others.

Same problem here............but i think i don't have enough posts yet....not really sure though.

Thx Mage for trying- LOL It's not a big deal but I couldn't figure it out- I was thinking maybe only ECF Supporters had the benefit of that feature... That is my thought- but again... not sure- Thx
