It stops sellers from making hordes of dummy accounts and dissing a particular product in competition with its own, or praising its own product.
spam post can be deleted by moderators and reset back to 0 post, or banned ip address. They really just want the site to be more restrictive on its own, so that they don't have to always police the forum.
I wish I could find out the level of memberships and what they mean, anyone care to post a link? I still cant do that lol.
I find myself just restating remarks previously made in most threads by people who think like me.
I know before I hit 15 I will prob piss someone out there off or hurt someone's feelings just making bs post so that I can have full access to new threads. sigh.... oh well better this than nothing at all.

I like the minimum... it's good for keeping many noob questions out of gen-pop... they tend to dilute the boards...
And there! One post closer to first-class citizenship!

Thanks

Started vaping March 2009, let me know when I'm not a noob anymore, I would hate to dilute the gen-pop.

I agree with you, it's not that big of an issue.

You might be a spammer

BUT I don't think the ability to edit your own post should require a minimum # of posts!!!!! (I'm frustrated about not being able to edit one of min earlier.)
You don't think you should not be allowed to edit your post before 15 post. What if your 14th post was spam? See this is a good rule.
Now that I have my 15 I would like to say Hi to everyone and look forward to getting to know all of you. Many I recognize from other forums.
I meant it when I said this is really a good forum packed with great info from all the reading I have done here. I know we all need rules to keep the order, and I'm sure the 15 post min has stopped many of spammers. So I'll play nice now I promise.

Hang in there mick;
The 15 post rule has been proven to eliminate a lot of spam. Most spammers won't take the time to build up a minimum post count. If all posts were open, the moderators couldn't keep up with spammers posting in all of the sub forums. Most spam can be caught right here and eliminated. Also, most one line, and posts of jibberish to increase post count will be deleted. This system also cuts down on people opening multiple accounts, which the admin frowns upon.
None of us want to sift through thousands of spam posts to get information. We all had to do it. You're probably over 15 right now.

I'd read that as meaning noobs to the community more than the cigs :P

coming from moderating several other forums that have to have moderators and admins on there 24/7 to keep spam and p0rn out i think the post minimum is a great idea myself
