Thanks for your help but it's not a quote reply problem Mage. The problem is that I can no longer compare original content in posts that have been edited. SmokeyJoe added a feature to the forum not long ago that allowed us to compare what was originally posted after edits. Someone edited a post today after I had replied and now I can't remember the original content.

Any idea when this might be sorted Joe?

Yeh, you can read the original for a few minutes but when you go back to it...it's not available to click on again.

Sorry for the late reply, Smokey, but I've been away. No, I wasn't getting the "too short" error, but everything seems to be working fine now. Sorry for the aggravation and thanks for your help with the other issues i pm'd you about! :-)

Is there a problem with sending Private Messages? I have composed and sent two messages in the past several days, but my Sent Message box is empty.

I still have no sent items even though I have sent a dozen or so PM's over the past month. The one I just sent to you is not in my sent folder.

Figured out my own problem. There is no default option to save a message to the Sent Items folder like other forums I belong to. So, I have to remember to check the option to save each message to the Sent Items folder everytime I send a PM.

The system logs me out when I am writing anything but a very brief post.
it also logs me out when I click a link to a page ref. in a thread...

I was just in the classified and swaps section and saw an announcement from SJ. When I clicked to view the announcement, I was redirected to the home page.

What was the message? What action was needed - as stated in the title of the announcement?

Was this just a test, or a bug?

Ok, just got to view the announcement. Nevermind this post.
