I don't know if this has been reported or not. I can't read all the pages in long threads.

It happened with an older thread, but it's happening now with the big "US Senator blah blah" thread. I can get to page 18 or so, and then anytime I click 19 or above, or LAST, I get bumped back to page 18.

I'm using XP and Firefox. I can work around it by opening up an IE tab with the IE-Tab-extension in Firefox and see the later pages, but can't do it with a Firefox tab.

getting logged off while reading threads or replying to personal messages.
even when the page to shows me logged in i get an error message telling me i am not allowed to post because i am not registered. if i go back a page it still shows me logged in but when i hit the send reply button it tells me i am not and gives me a page where i am not logged in.
also,
the todays posts function often shows me 13 pgs but tells me the search criteria has no results midway through (usually by page 6 if it's gonna happen)

I have my CP set to NOT view avatars, and I don't see any avatars.... except Walrus! Any idea why I can always see his? Like, he's just such an imposing guy that it overrides trivialities such as options and control panels and other frou-frou?

Also.... for the love of pete, what's with Phylo's forum reply notifications ?!! The first 300 times I saw the message I felt all now it's just

I'm still being thrown off periodically, but since the time was changed from 15 min to 30 it isn't so bad. However, sometimes it takes me a while to compose a reply, particularly if it involves chasing up references. I've grown wise to copying the text before hitting the 'post' button, but after I logged in (again), I couldn't find the right thread again. The reply page came up blank and there was no hint in the URL which thread I tried to post to

It took a lot of digging to find it under 'today's post'. So I suppose I also have to copy the URL before making a reply, but the whole thing is getting rather involved.

Denni, I really don't know why this is happening - it's not happening with me. Are you using cookies or do you have antivirus blocking them?

Thanks Joe (and I've signed the petition )

I thought I'd white-listed the page, but the silly script blocker is showing up a partial block.

Funny though that it hasn't happened before.

I'm getting (just since today) connection-interruptions, network-issues, 204-pages, messages not getting through to post (leading sometimes to double-posting also)... Are you working on something, SJ? If not: we aren't going back to 'those good old days' I hope... Is the traffic getting too heavy again?
