Feature request thread (new)

Hi I love the idea of rating suppliers, we are developing into a huge group of spenders and should expect a honest reliable base of vendors and develop a group of partners, looking out for us the people who spend, huge dollars. If we can help build these these companies, we should get strong meaningful service and products

Rating the suppliers would certainly be a great thing. Nobody wants to do business with someone who is untrustworthy. It would benefit those who take care of their customers and would lead to more happy customers!

I would like the ability to "tag" members in posts similar to the way facebook does it so that if one member references another member in a post, the referenced member would get a notification that there is a post concerning them.

I understand that this could be abused if someone tags many people in order for their post to get attention.

However, with so many users and posts now, it is impossible to keep up with them all and it would be nice to be notified of posts if they concern you.

Damn fine idea Kaston, In a few threads I have come across my name mentioned to take note of and have seen them like 2 weeks later ! I understand this might be a major technical issue as well but it would sure be handy!

I would like to see the implementation of a feature similar to Howardforums.com where users identify which e-cigs they are using (or also which brand/flavor/nicotine strength of liquid the poster prefers). It would help to understand the personal preferences of each poster at a quick glance. Particularly helpful for a reader to determine if a poster has similar tastes, not just for social reasons, but also in a quick assessment of how applicable the advice/recommendations of a poser may be.

Hopefully that made sense.

Is there a way to make certain threads readable by forum members only and not google-able to the general public? Is everything we write public domain and free to be quoted by whomever for whatever purpose, or are posts the intellectual property (whatever?) of ECF?

I'd like to suggest a name change for the "General" forum. Something like "Almost Anything Goes". The way it is now there are two forums named General.

I would like to see a person who would be willing to help new people out with our stupid questions about all the stuff there is to learn about eciggs...and post little links that I could just click on and find things really easily....and make encouraging comments to almost everyone...Maybe you could put a picture of a nun smoking a cigar on her profile..and give her an easy to remeber name like KATE..Whata think Stevey

could we have a sticky placed in the modders forum
i would like a "Gallery" where modders can upload pics of their handywork and a bit of a write up.
basically - ""no post without a pic of your mod""
no chit chat replies by other members talking about the weather or any other mundane crap , other forums can take care of that dribble
this might help cut down the ridiculous amount of spammage thats going in there

some really great stuff has been created by people and it would be great to be able to go to one thread and look through a whole range of ecig mods and who has done the work ,if people need to contact for more info a pm is easy to do

so maybe a header post by Samba or Epipe laying down the law and it should stay nice n neat

if that could be done , ill be a happy chappy
