Default Links in posts open in multiple tabs?

When I click on a link within a post, the new page opens simultaneously in sometimes 1, sometimes 2, sometimes 3 tabs.

Curious if this happens to others, or just me and I should investigate my machine. I use FF3, Vista OS and I have never noticed this happening anywhere else. Thanks.

Negative, I don't have that issue at all. I'm running FF 3.0.6, with windows XP though. Defunct/Happy Clicking Mouse? Broken Browser?

-When clicking a link, does it always open up 2-3 tabs or just the normal one page?
-Has this ALWAYS happened before, or did this just start up?
-Did you notice this before the upgrade for FF3?
-Have you tried running the website in IE? (Gasp)
-Does IE have the same issue?

:P If it works fine in IE, I'd try reinstalling/repairing FF. ^.^

I'm also on FF3, using XP, and just get a single tab opening.

Sounds like it may be something your end?

Not an issue I've come across. Would be interested if anyone else is experiencing this?

OK, I may be stupid. This is the only site I've ever been in where this has happened. I realized that I am consistently double-clicking on links, though. I've made a conscious effort to single-click and so far it hasn't happened again. Maybe this site is just more sensitive than others to my double-clicking. Hopefully that's all it is, and feel free to delete the thread
