Hmm I must say, VG coming from a health food store sounds much more attractive then PG from a tractor store haha.

If you make your own juice, wouldnt that put to rest some of those concerns about safety of liquid?

Yes. The impossible task for home brewers is knowing how much nicotine my own liquid contains, unless I resort to mixing mine with commercial e-liquid. If I do that .. I'm back to the unknown hazards.

PG is used on cow's teats. VG is used in food mixes.

So i guess VG might be healthier to use? I see what your saying. I wouldnt have any idea on how to get nicotine, Maybe from buying nicotine inhalers or something? I dont know much about it. So I guess if you guys figure out the nicotine problem or whatever, then home batches might be the way to go.

    regards

LOL!! I've heard it described a lotta ways... used in asthma inhalers, theatrical fog machines... but... "on cow's teats"? I wonder what exactly they're doing with it on cow's teats?

Prevents them drying out, supposedly. PG is a humectant, maintaining about 70% moisture where it is applied. It's used in some skin moisturizers for this purpose. It draws moisture from the humid air to the dry skin. The opposite happens in our throats. It coats the throat, then draws moisture from the throat surface to the drier air in the mouth. We get dry throats.
