There's no age restriction on caffeine (and I speak as a life-long coffee addict since the age of about 12).
This isn't controversial... this is the truth. It makes me sick that a child can purchase a Red Bull and then pop an ADHD pill to balance it out and adult behaviors are being scrutinized left and right. We need to stop parenting adults and start having parents, parent their children.

Caffeine should have an age limit if nicotine does. I have done a lot of research on nicotine vs. caffeine and from all of my accounts and findings, the two drugs do exactly the same thing for the body (except nicotine has been found to help with mental disorders while caffeine is not).

Also, caffeine falls into the same drug family as ....... so theoretically, it should be banned before nicotine. 18 should be the magic age. You can vote, die for your country, drink a beer, have a smoke, and drink a coke!

And I don't see anyone questioning VCU on this case... There are some students trying to battle to get their university 'clean' but well... what will their chances be...

I've always known that things worldwide but especially in the states were led and manouvered by money and shady influence... I never thought it went this far though. You are right, PM 'owns' university, hospital, bio-labs, the lot from what I can see.

A tragedy indeed... David will have to have a world of luck, lots of smartness and probably some divine intervention to win this one...
But giving up is something we shouldn't be doing... try we must!

Edit Oh and Bob... they found 2 carcinogens (of course tiny amounts, but why say that) to get it banned... then they will 'discover a snus without carcinogen' and bring it onto the market under PM's wing for their prices... did you know that PM-international has a joint venture with SafetyMatch Sweden since shortly? Devil's brew it is...

Oh trust me I'm .....ing pissed my man. But what is that going to do?!? These corrupt a**holes that control everything are going to do what they're gonna do.

What I find completely sad is all these little sheep running around writing emails and signing petitions...trying to "make a difference" --yeah OK. If you don't have CASH you don't mean ...... It's the way of the world. Always has been and always will be.

Guess I'll just sit back and see if the "wise ones" allow me to have my snus. If they take that from me I'm going to be up .....'s creek without a paddle (but of course provided with either a pack of Marlboro's or nicorette gum).

I think Lacey also has an idea, from her research, on how thorough and far-reaching Philip Morris has been to set up the takeover scanario we see today. Yes, I knew of the Swedish snus connection. They sell 1847 in Sweden (I've used a tin, not bad).

And to think they are a Senate vote and a Presidential signature away from a seat on the FDA's advisory committee to approve "new" alternatives to cigarettes. Alternatives like .. e-cigs they don't yet sell. And snus they don't market in the U.S. And dissolvables they don't manufacture, but RJR does. My, my. What PM wants, PM gets.

    Totally off-topic completely irrelevant rant...

If I was going to nominate something to be put through a full “new drug” rectal exam, that stuff in the skinny cans that “gives you wings” would be my candidate. It became fashionable among young people within the subculture of serious poker players several years ago, so I see it a lot, being guzzled by people sitting elbow to elbow with me at a poker table for hours at a time.

It is seriously weird. It just is. I watch big physical and mental changes come over them as they swill this concoction, and I swear they get more weirded out than a crackhead.

Plus, it tastes & smells like feet.

    [end of my irrelevant rant]

We can also expect nasty reports on e-smoking as we now practice it, but praiseworthy reports on PM's Aria inhaler (when the company is ready to market it). Ban today's e-devices. Approve the Aria.

PM has bought it all -- a medical university, hospital, research facility, professors. And it has veto power over everything discovered while using its millions in donations. What a tragedy.

Oh brother, I feel sick!!! This is really, really bad news.

information about nicotine absorption and toxicity for tobacco products is lacking

there is not enough data on snus to make per-dose comparisons

There's not much known about these products

who's going to be using them

This product is not a safe alternative to cigarettes

particularly attractive to children with its brightly colored tins and names like "frost" and "spice," .
If the lines are working on the American Public in their favor, why change them just because the product changes? Ptha! We might as well call this nation the United States of Philip Morrisca, because their money is calling all the shots...

We Americans really need to wake up and smell what's REALLY being fed to us for breakfast....It don't smell like coffee and toast, that's for sure!
