The pic is fantastic thank you!
No, that doesn't dissolve, but it does stay together so far for me! Probably wouldn't want to toss it around your mouth all day though :-) The Ariva and Stonewalls completely dissolve though.

Wildsky: No, it doesn't disolve. Sometime between 30 minutes to 2 hours, (depending on the strength of the portion) you just dispose of it. Alot of the cans of snus have a separate compartment built in to them called an "ashtray" that you can store the used portions so that you don't have to find a trash can for them. You wait for the proper time (like when you go home) and then empty the "ashtray" so that you don't have to just spit them out in public.

I get the biggest kick out of this video, and while I think it may have been posted here somewhere before, it's worth posting again. A great little intro to snus...

    Default Getsnus has FREE samples

Wildsky, Getsnus does offer some free samples, think it is $1.00 for shipping
EDIT ... i see you found the free offer, i should read all the post first huh .. . Anyways i'll still leave this link for anyone else interested
    Introductory Offer - GetSnus.com

I tried the offroad coffee/vanilla, personally i don't like it. Doesn't taste anything like cofffee to me. I wouldn't recommend it. If you really want to try it i could mail you a few pouches of mine .
I would recommend the General Mini Mint especially as a starter. I got a free can as my mystery can with my first order, real happy i did.

I find the Snus works really good when i'm working outside. We have a couple of acres so there is always soemthing to do out there.

One of the people i was dealing with at Getsnus was a woman, Jill. During the emails we were sending back and forth she said that she'd given up smoking using just Snus. Nice people to do business with.

Unfortunately, for coffee the only one I've found is Offroad Limited Coffee Vanilla Portion but I really didn't care for it at all - it tasted neither of coffee nor vanilla to me.

For fruit there are a few but I'd not really call any of them "fruity" in usual sense of the word; snus has quite a distinct flavour of its own and the described flavours are really more like overtones (much the same as wine might be described). Of the ones that are described as being fruity, I rather like:

    1) Göteborgs Rapé No2 white portion - the fruitiest of them all so far
    2) Swedish Camel white portion (note: this is not RJR American Camel SNUS)
    3) Röda Lacket Claq Qui regular portion (this is high nicotine)
    4) Jakobssons Ice-Fruit regular portion (but if you don't like mint, I guess this one is no good for you)

I've ordered from Buy Snus, Order Swedish snus online world wide - BuySnus.com lots of times [too many!] and Northerner.com, buy Snus online, order shipped within 24 hours express worldwide once. The former has had extremely fast shipping every time and the best website in functional terms IMHO - you can see the EU tax (grr!) inclusive price up front and the shipping costs advise you how much weight you have left before the postage goes up to the next bracket.

    Hope this helps...

So you can have them shipped to European countries besides Sweden? I thought they were banned there, but I guess I was wrong :-)

As I understand it, it's only illegal to sell snus outside Sweden [& Denmark I think], it's not illegal to use it anywhere within the EU (perhaps the world).

Since the order is done over the Internet, Sweden is where the sale happens but I imagine it's a bit of a grey area. My fingers are in the UK but the web page is processed in Sweden, where does the sale happen?

There are no import regulations on snus at all curiously, it is outwith categorisation since it is neither smoked nor chewed. I could fly to Sweden and bring back tons for my own use or to give away but I couldn't sell it.

And I thought some of our laws over here were confusing! Thanks for clearing it up for me though :-)
