I'm a snus user for almost 8 months ..
Let me tell you this:
you didn't like smoking right when you started either.
Snus is a different experience. The nicotine in snus can stop your cravings, hence it's a great way to stop smoking.
There are hundreds of flavors to choose from.
Mordred, Thunder Minis have the same amount of nic as a full portion. They might be more comfortable for you.
