I have intentionally avoided Offroad, Phantom and Grand Prix and most likely always will.

I did try the regular white portion of Ettan, and found that one to be VERY good as well. It's on the 'pure tobacco' list along with Tre Ankare

In my snubie confusion i also ordered a can of the Rothbrix Classic. Again one i can use every once in a while so it won't go to waste. Just not an all day snus. My saving grace was the cans of Skruf cranberry and Catch Eucalyptus, plus a mystery can of General Mini mint. Gotta love the mystery can

At least they do seem to pick out something you'd enjoy as that mystery can, which is kinda cool.

As far as Grand Prix goes...I'll agree with you on that one. I just thought it was pretty flavorless so it sits in the freezer awaiting a "desperate day"

| ECF Veteran | Couldn't hold out anymore and had to try the Ettan Original. TB is right on this one. A no nonsense, good nic hit, good tobacco flavor. May have to order some more of this one.

Ok, so I haven't been using much los lately. (General Wintergreen has become "my brand/flavor") So today I decided I'd try out some of my los I hadn't yet tried. First pick was Ettan. I made about a regular portions worth with my icetool. I start to feel a nic buzz, wow, haven't felt that in awhile. I forgot just how much stronger los can be. Anyway, on comes some flavor, I didn't like it AT ALL. That is the first can that went straight away into the trash. Ettan is the first can I have ever thrown away without wanting to return, EVER!Now, of course, this is only my opinion and my taste buds are certainly less than reliable even after 100+ days of not smoking. Maybe, I'm finding things that my "real" taste buds like without smoking?? Next up, OffRoad Wintergreen los (will not try OW portions). Now this is a flavor I can deal with and I'm certainly buzzing like a bee. It's no General Wintergreen that's for sure. But it's doable. |

General question: I ordered from Swedish Snus/Northerner, and it shipped on the 4th. What is the usual shipping time from Sweden? |

Just got my sample of the General White Portion from getsnus.com about 2 hours ago. I immediately tore it open and popped it in. I was only planning on keeping it in about half an hour, but lost track of time...kept it in for an hour. Oh, well. No harm done. Now, an hour later, I am still feeling nice. The last few days I have been using the Camel SNUS - only because I just discovered snus, and ordered the swedish ones the same day - but wanted some practice..hahah. Love the lack of sugary sweetness of the swedish snus. Though I think the occasional mellow or frost american SNUS might be nice from time to time, I definitely think I'll be sticking to the swedish stuff. Just gotta find out all about other varieties now! And unlike the american SNUS - no nicups, no sick feeling if it's in too long...and though they helped me drop my analog usage CONSIDERABLY - it seems based on this one pouch of general white, that the swedes are gonna win overall. |
