I'm just leery of shelling out around $40 for the thing without knowing exactly how much it's better than the prismaster.

Does it really keep a pris together that well and give less "mud mouth" after a while?
.
Get the 3ml Stainless one, nice and shiny and will last a lifetime. The colored ones are tempting but I bet those colors will wear off over time.
I keep mine in the fridge with my los = )
How's your stockpile coming? Sounds like you have a decent suppy with all the deals you are finding with Getsnus.
-
I've got 2 filled gallon size bags in the freezer, and another with maybe 6 cans, and 6 in the fridge that I'm dipping into now. Then there's the can of Grand Prix...it's in there someplace, hehe Figures about the colored ones...I actually had my eye on the pink one
-
And I have the 10 pack limited edition los box coming from snuscentral, 10 cans of Offroad coffee/vanilla coming from buysnus, and 5 cans offroad wintergreen los, 5 cans offroad cranberry los, and 2 cans of roda lacket on their way from getsnus.
-
I'll get you to buy one yet!!!
I wouldn't suggest it to anyone if it didn't work well. $38 will buy alot of snus instead if it isn't worth it. The shape of the pris is much more comfortable under your lip and doesn't fall apart as long as you leave it alone and don't stir it too much.
-
That's why I had to come up with an idea to hold that little pris together...I just can't leave it alone! :-) Always sneaking the tongue up for a little taste, hehe

Someone on a snus forum told me to go ahead and put a link of his pics of using a coffee filter, so here it is if you want to check that out too. :-)

I finally got some cheesecloth. I checked my local China duty free store (Walmart) but no luck finding the cloth. This after taking to half dozen employees. I did find some elsewhere.
I have no doubt that you are having good results with your cheesecloth, but the stuff I got is terrible. Very uncomfortable. It's called "Eco-Friendly Cheesecloth". It is made by "Kitchen Supply" The best part of the cheesecloth is that it's F.D.A. approved. I kid you not. Says so right on the package.
Perhaps you could clue me in as to what brand you're using.
For now I'm staying with the Lipton tea bags. A good deal more comfortable then portions with all the flavor of loose.

I think the really good reason we are reinventing snus delivery after more than 200 years of evolution escaped me.
NOT WORTH IT. Just use mini portions.

Geez ha TB. Just let us kids have our fun.
Seriously though, there are some very good reasons for rolling your own portions. The big one is taste. Loose simply taste better then portions.
Another one is cost. At less then 1/4 the price of mini portions I'll go through the miner hassle of rolling my own. Takes me about the same amount of time as I used to spend rolling my own tobacco.
Those two are plenty enough reasons for me.

I just picked up a package of the stuff in the crafts section at Walmart, here's a pic of the package:
