I have tried a lot of brands of snus. General I like, but I have to admit, it always has a cat piss smell to it. Used to turn me off. I dont think i have a favorite snus yet. They all seem to be very similar. One i hated was offroad wintergreen. NASTY. im ordering some general wintergreen portions to try out.

That cat piss smell is ammonia. It's sometimes very heavy in new nasal snuff, too. Those tins need to be aired out for about 24 hours before use. I haven't had it bother me, but if it did, I'd open the snus tin and leave it open in a refrigerator for a day.

It seems to be profound with the general brand, like a lot of the others dont have that nasty smell. I mean i use it anyway, i dont care. Nicotine is nicotine. lol. Just was wondering if everyone smelled what i was smelling. One thing about snus I have to admit, If i didn't know any better, I wouldnt think snus is safer then all the other smokeless tobacco. It smells so like chemically and weird sometimes, Especially when it gets warm in your pocket. I think i have tried almost every brand of snus there is lol. |
