Awwww man... I was just going to bed and you have to throw this out there? Considering there isn't a "snus-stand" close, I guess I'm headed back to the store tonight - ...like I could go to sleep when the answer could have been right under our upper lip the whole time...

I've used the penstyle (Janty Kissbox) e-cig for this experiment -- and the vapor is still very good late into the evening. I have a Janty Dura, but think that cart cavity might be too small. I knew the penstyle would be fine, as would a cigar or pipe cart. The draw isn't affected any more than having a regular filter material present. Swedish snus, which I often order online, goes all the way to 17mg per pouch (for regular size portions; I'm using mini size). A regular pouch would be a snug fit, but might make it into a penstyle. No way do I think a regular portion would fit a mini cig cart. A Camel snus is said to be 8mg. The mini I've been using is 6mg. The next time I try this, I'll add a drop of Bickford Kahlua flavor. Final note: There's a tasteless snus from Oomph that used to be called Wine and Chef and I think is now called Wine and Dine, or something like that. Very powerful nicotine hit and would not add any of its own flavor to a vapor. And, yeah, if worse comes to worst, I could use this should liquid be banned. |

Thanks Bob. I'm using Janty Kissbox's as well. So i need mini pouches to be certain and regular may be a squeeze. (I'm sure you find out before i do) I've just looked on The Northerner and i'm not sure what the difference between a Portion and a Pouch is. There's so many different brands and strengths it's hard to know where to start. ![]() Congratulations on another great idea.

Kudos T Bob! I never thought I'd try snus - but you've convinced me. |

T Bob..A silly question I am sure..but would P.G. be ok? And I am sure you must have vaped that first mini snuss dry by now..how long did it last? I wonder if you could soak it a second time? I was thinking a drop of favor would be nice! Did the kahlua work? What a concept! You have a nice mind..well at least a curious one.. |

Brilliant idea TBob. I took the stuffing out of a cart, filled the cart with some Farmers Gold Additive Free Stuff Yer Own tobacco (just to measure how much it'd hold). Dumped the contents into a Mr Coffee filter & twisted it into a little pouch then cut off excess with scissors. Set the little pouch into a soup bowl & added a few drops of Everclear 150 proof and about 10 drops of PG onto the pouch & let it soak for about an hour. Took the damp pouch & carefully stuffed it into the cart, and it works great. Even has a tobacco taste. I don't know if or how much nicotine it's delivering but it tastes good! This process even works with my herbal medication and it tastes very good too! |

Way to improvise, Harry! FYI: The words portion and pouch are interchangeable. Same thing -- little tea bag-like packs of pasteurized tobacco. Some hardcore snusers think of snus as tins of loose tobacco. I don't use it that way. Just personal preference. And it wouldn't work well if used loose in a cart. My own soaked mini is still producing lots of vapor going into its second day. I made one attempt to add some VG, but the thing wouldn't absorb more. PG would be even better, in my mind, because of its anti-bacterial properties, but I don't have pure PG on hand. VG can be easily bought at a health food store, so that's what I use as a fluid to make vapor. The only snus I have on hand at the moment are from Discreet, a new brand, and all are sweet. I'd rather have other choices and will order some today. Snus with pure tobacco flavor include the Lucky Strike mini, which I often use. And I want some tasteless Wine&Dine by Oomph, so I can try flavor experiments. Great to see others experimenting. Do post your results and/or impressions. I'm still seeing lots of vapor from this Kissbox. |

Can you recommend what soaking concoction i can use since vg and pg are not so great for me? Can i soak the Came SNUS in absolut alone? Or what if i put 20% pg (causes dry throat) and 80% absolut? What do ya think? Thanks | |
