| ![]() seems they're selling in a couple of states...it doesn't seem to be a conventional snus, its said to be a mix between snus & dissolvables...where to buy online? shipping outside USA? has anybody tried these, if so, are they any good compared to other snus...

I haven't yet seen a positive review on them...they have dry tobacco and a "flavor strip". Real snus doesn't need a flavor strip, and the tobacco isn't dry. As far as American snus goes, Discreet is getting tons of good reviews over on snuson.com. Getsnus now carries it :-)

anyways, thanx for the heads up on 'discreet' brand, since i'm more interested in trying the mini portions...plus, with no snus experience i need more selection than the 2 or 3 brands i already know from analogs...might try 'general' as well, i heard they're alright...i'm not a big fan of mint flavors, so it seems my flavor options are not so great hehe...PS. does getsnus.com sell to canada?

far as I know, it's just reworked Taboka....which wasn't all that great when it was out.

I've tried the Marlboro products, which are no longer available in my area. They are monumentally sweet and have ZERO nicotine hit. You might as well put a stick of Dentyne chewing gum in your mouth. They are so bad that scientific papers were written questioning whether Philip Morris (maker of Marlboro) is trying to keep smokers hooked by turning them off with a sickly sweet, ineffective snus product. Anyone trying this as a first snus will conclude, "Doesn't work, don't like the taste, where are my cigarettes." |

I like Oliver Twist regular, but the wintergreen ones I just could not tolerate. The taste made me ill. I've used OTs for about two years. When I started, they had one called Senior, "for experienced users only." What a nic kick that was. I loved it. So of course it was discontinued. The regular is as strong as it gets. I've had Tropical, Citrus, Royal .. all of the flavors, as I recall. I kept coming back to regular. They are not like snus, but nonetheless do not require spitting, and aren't chew. They are, in fact, a new "hot" item. General is moving into tobacco bits and I expect those on Northerner and GetSnus before long. Picadelli is not as good as OT. The Picadelli bits crumble and unfold far too quickly. An OT bit can last me an hour or longer. Just beware: Very strong tobacco bitterness. Not really like snus. And, once the packet is opened, the bits dry out and harden in a few days. So plan to use them up quickly. |

Not really. The upper lip is said to produce less saliva when using a snus. I never use the upper lip for anything but kissing. Snus and bits go between cheek and gum on one side or the other.
